At the beginning of June 2019 I received noticed from Vio Bank, a division of Midfirst Bank, that they were arbitrarily closing my account due to a business decision. I had no complaints with them closing my account and only asked for my funds to be remitted to the linked account I had on file as soon as possible in the amount of $2,878.69.
After several emails back and forth with different employees I was told I had to wait an additional 10 business days before they could release the funds back to me. I waited that time period, and they told me the money could not be wired or ACH to my linked account and that I had to wait for a certified check to be sent out.
I informed them that I did not agree to this manor of getting my funds from them and asked to speak to several supervisors to get the funds ACH or wired to my linked account as promised. I spoke to a manger named Ryan on several occasions between June 12th and June 26th in which I signed several documents authorizing them to ACH or wire the funds to my money lion checking account.
I waited about three days and nothing was done and I received an email on June 26th stating they sent me a certified check and that would be the only way that they could pay me even though I had signed all forms and promised to get the money wired. This is the second complaint I’ve made regarding this matter and in the original complaint they promised to remit the funds to me which they have failed to do.
