We hired Vincent Paterno (License #SL537485) as our property manager to handle renting and managing our property in West Palm Beach in October 2018.
We were made aware that property was rented in December 2018 when Florida Power & Light notified us that the account that we have active for the property is being closed due to a new request from a new customer.
Vincent Paterno our property manager at the time failed to notify us that the property has been rented. However, we continued our contract with him in good faith that this could have been a minor error on his part.
However, as the months pass by, the monthly rent is always delayed. We have spoken to him regarding this issue and nothing has changed. In July 2019, the current tenant left the property and a new tenant was acquired. Vincent Paterno once again failed notify us of this change.
We were only made aware by the condominium association that there was a new application for approval on our property. After this incident, we began our search for a new property manager and acquired one in October 2019.
As the new property manager took possession of the keys to the property, we made multiple attempts to contact Vincent Paterno to release the tenants $850 security deposit and have been unsuccessful. We've sent emails and made phone calls and none of these attempts were answered.
We tried to give him the benefit of the doubt and had given him until November 30, 2019 to return release the tenants security deposit. It is not past November 30th and none of our attempts were once again unanswered.
