I had filled out a form online requesting some quotes from various movers. Viking Van Lines LLC is one of the companies that responded back with a standard form letter requesting I fill out an inventory sheet.
It's when they started multiple-time calling my phone number over and over I started to take offence. If someone doesn't answer the first time and you already left a message, DON'T KEEP CALLING THEM OVER AND OVER! What they did to me amounted to ILLEGAL PHONE HARASSMENT.
I emailed them and asked them to stop spam calling my phone while I was at work and that if they needed something I'd be happy to talk to them via email. The REPLY to their original email BOUNCED! They sent it from a fake/unknown email address. (RED FLAG #1).
I visited their website (Vikingvanlines.com) and it contained NO CONTACT form and had original "Cookie cutter" "Welcome to Wordpress" crap all over the place... obviously they were too lazy to update the default template (Which is dangerous and means they could easily be hacked). (RED FLAG #2)
Later that day I got another form email, this time from someone named "Ross Palmer" ([email protected]) hounding me for a complete inventory list. I sent a reply email complaining about the harassing phone calls and asked them why they do not have a contact form on their website. NO REPLY to multiple emails (RED FLAG #3).
So far I have not gotten a reply from an actual HUMAN and have only head to deal with form emails from a company with a garbage templat website. Not someone I would trust with my valuables EVER.
