Totally agree with William. This is a total scam. The women in the pictures all look professionally made up and photographed. Trying to get them to communicate using anything other than the site and they advise it is FORBIDDEN !! It's a dating site !! How would anyone ever know .

Anyway, to communicate with any of thes ladies costs 'tokens' which you have to buy of course. Costs vary depending on how many tokens you buy. It costs 2 tokens to send a short message, 10 tokens to send an e-mail and 20 tokens to watch one of the ladies' videos. The ladies are all willing to continue a conversation using the site but ony the site. A surprising number of the models and I use that word intentionally, seem to hail from the Ukraine. Wow ! there must be more beautiful women in the Ukraine than anywhere else on the planet.

If you buy tokens, the site advises the charge will appear on your card as miscellaneous internet charges. I made the mistake of buying a few tokens. Charge appeared as Victoria Brides, Dating and Escort Services !! Avoid this site, it is a complete ripp off !

Say what you will?

I myself have been on here for over 10 months. Yes I spent a lot of money talking to lots of girls. I have seen what some say is bot related for sure and learn to not talk to them. I get selfies from girls when we have talked for an hour or more and ask them for a selfie. But earlier asked them where they are at what they were wearing. Then by surprise and hour later I ask for one, and I get what they said it's true.

I also do have several email addresses I've talked to them on too. I did get from this sight to me when asked for it.

I live in very small farming town of only 2,200. In this town there are 3 men that have married Ukraine girls. Some as long as 15 years ago and they are great wives. Also there is several men from my home town of 75,000 that I know married some to and it is all good. Even yesterday I was talking to client in my office and he told me of a friend that married on years ago.

So after talking to people I know with Ukraine wife's I have to go find out for myself.

I'm buying my flight over there tomorrow morning to see 4 different girls in 3 weeks total time there.

So in around the mid March I will all know about it.

If not true, I will say I had fun, and will meet a nice girl when there if it is not.

I happen to join a dating service called victoria brides advertising about meeting woman from the ukraine. it came to me by a post link. all of a sudden all these beautiful pictures of all these woman came flooding in. i picked one I was intersted in around my age and we began to chat on a chat room. in fact, all victoria brides offer is chat room and e-mail. writing an e-mail was very expensive so I just used the chat room. I found out i get charged a cost of chatting 2 credits per minute. I enjoyed chatting with this woman and then a charge comes in where I have to buy more credits. after about a cost of nearly $over 750.00 from my bank card, my bank became suspicious and called me asking about all this expensive activity. i wrote the woman that we should get on another chat room, one that would be free and she said she would try but didn't know how to do this. when i offered her other chat rooms or even facebook, this sight blocked it out. i tried giving her my address, or phone number and the sight blocked this out also. i asked if she was charged and she told me no. although I had her first name, her age and the city in the ukraine where she lived, the web-sight would not give me her last name. when she wrote me her last name, the sight blocked it out The websiite gave no provisions as to how we could meet, any travel tips to the ukraine, or how she could apply for a visa to come here. all i could do was chat and keep getting charged for it. i believe this is not a ligitmate dating web sight but a scam just to suck someone like me and anyone else, who probably resides in the ukraine or somewhere getting money from poor suckers like me and others. i told the lady i can not afford the cost of this chatting but she told me she did not want to lose me and I told her the same. i tried everything i could to keep in contact with her, but the cost of chatting was ruining the whole relationship. eventually i just had to drop out and let everything go as is. all i can say is i spent over 750.00 worth of loneliness and not a thing to show for it. someone should investigate this web sight and seriously shut it down!

No Problem as I See

I've been on this site for about 4 weeks and have been communicating with a woman now for that whole time. Yes there are the glamor picture's to get your attention and I saw that right away. After chatting with her which is expensive too I asked her about that. She said it's required by the agency that she is signed up with. As we chatted I got a picture of her and son in real life which was a lot different looking but still nice. I've also received more from her.

I've thrown every kind of question at her trying to find a slip up along the way and so and have not found anything yet. I told her she better be the person in that picture I saw telling her I met a woman here in the states and she didn't even come close to who she was. I told her I left her sitting and walked out!!

The reason I know about these glamor pictures is my ex-wife had it done here in the states so I know they totally can make the women look great.

To get to meet her I had to have 1000 credits and fill in a form to check my back ground which was pretty intensive. After the approval I got her e-mail and we have been going this way. I know her real name got her phone number and chat by using viber through the phone or computer.

She also told me that she had to go through the same intense back ground screening as I did and only if it was alright she would be put on the site.

Yes I tried to send my email address and phone number to her before the 1000 credits and she said that they were blocked also. You play by there rules that's all what's it's about and of course money. They also will help you when you come over to meet her to find a hotel and interpreter but I found my own hotel which she recommended and she is bringing her own interpreter along.

So far I don't see a problem and I've gotten other messages from woman and they have sent a along of a present picture showing the real person she is. Yes I did have a young girl that wanted me to go to a different web site which she gave and I knew that was a problem and reported her.

So nothing is free and yes you have to be careful with this kind of dating. The International Marriage Broker Regulation Act required from Homeland Security is for the safety of all.

Probably worse than you think.

I got fed up noticing websites like this always popping up on US media websites, they've long outlasted those for balding and viagra which together make for three totally pointless marketing ploys to get me, I am not interested and so will have no problem staying far away. However, this particular one intrigued me with its sales line, "over 1 million" women seeking foreign men (note, not Western). Am always wondering how far marketing is allowed to stretch things but that sounds like mass migration to me. So I landed here in search of more reliable information and read a few of your stories which makes me think that despite maybe paying a few thousand housewives (part-time, results based) to pretend to be someone else, there are very few employees or "women", maybe none.

What makes things more interesting though is the image it gives of the East, obviously most people seem convinced it's a scam from there but c'mon guys, it's registered in the BVI, why would any ex USSR outfit want to register and have its money stored in the western sphere of influence, if it's a scam (at least 99% is), that puts their money very much at risk from US intervention (and we all know how excited the US is right now about knocking all things bad that can be contrued as linked to "Russia").

Likely this is just like those Chinese solar stock frauds, a well orchestrated scam outfit run out of some back office on Wall Street. Someone here asked why the FDA doesn't intervene (it might if you lodge an official complaint but it seems none of you here have) but I have a far more revealing problem with how things work in the US, why do mainstream US media outlets (like Yahoo) continue and insist on pushing these kind of companies, they know exactly why.

See no SCAM

I don’t have any complaints about VictoriaBrides. I’ve been using it for quite a long time. I like an online dating because it’s easy and you don’t necessarily have to go out to meet a girl. I was looking for a site that has Ukrainian dating and VictoriaBrides was one of the top sites. So, I made a registration which was free. Here in the US, most dating sites charge a fee when you sign up. I think it’s not fair because you don’t know whether you’ll like the site or not. So, a free registration is something that I admired. I haven’t had a date with a girl in person but I chat with a few nice girls. I even had video chats basically like skype which was fun. It’s cool when you can be at home or at work and just talk to a nice girl and have a good company. But!!!You can’t have those sexy talks. I guess they ban it and want you to be a serious guy who wants to get married.

I BELIEVE that none of the three people with whom I was in extended contact had any serious intention of dealing with me. Cancel my latest 149.99 pending purchase. I rescinded the order of the perfume. And refund the balance of my unused credits. Close my account. You need to refund me four additional purchases of 149.49.

Three women including Natalia 44, Alyona 46, and Christina 24, requested I buy them perfume. I refused and moved on to the next person. When the request of perfume became consistent,I decided that none was serious and the purchases for them in addition to the time spent talking to them was fraudulent. My purchases were on 9/28, 10/08, 10/08, 10/16 nd 10/19. All in 2016

I have some suspicion that all three were coached to describe me positively, suggest sexual encounters and to request the favors. The latter two suggested dates and relationship very early in our talks that I thought were inappropriate. I doubt if any of the three were engaged in the occupation they described or that they have achieved the academic success they claimed. After three attempts, I concluded that all were interested in the favors rather than any interest in becoming truly acquainted with me in real life. I have no idea if any of the other women who communicated with me were fraudulent but their story similarities suggest it. I will communicate with my bank to insist on the return of my funds.

I would like to report victoriabrides.com dating website. Dating site allows you chat to women from Ukraine. You are required to buy credit at different price, that allows you to communicate with them. You are charged in live chat 2 credits per minute or via correspondence email at price 10 credit for first email and then 30 credits per email. I've spent around $200. Different women asking you exactly same question. In one occasion I've mentioned ukrainian city Uzhorod my grandad was born there. That city was not in search option. Suddenly woman from Uzhorod has sent me message. You can ask for woman's email or phone number by filling legal for. You have to provide your personal details address or copy of your passport. Which I did. I do not have any phone number or email address of any woman as they never replied back or they said they cannot post it as website blocking their numbers.

I was just reading what George Foryan wrote about the website dating service (victoriabrides.com). George, if you're reading this, I believe the woman you chatted with is part of the scam! here's why:

I signed up yesterday, looking to meet my dream woman. I was excited when the messages started pouring in (over 70 in a matter of hours). I chatted to a girl I thought was cute. I passed her my number in letters instead of numbers. She said she didn't get it! I asked her to find me on Facebook, she said she doesn't use it!

At this point I did not suspect the site (or the girl) to be scam.. but I also didn't want to spend too much money on chatting this way. I said to the woman 'find a friend who's on Facebook and ask them to look me up' I gave her my Surname but she said it was blocked too!!

I did not believe this as we were chatting live! there's no way they could block out my name automatically..

That's when I did a google search and I came across George's report on here and the whole sham of PPL websites

Let me tell you, I was absolutely disgusted. I went on there with the best of intentions. To prey on people like that is just horrible.

I used up what's left of my credit to tell the women that wrote to me that they are SCUM!

I also wrote to the site. They wrote back offering refund and I accepted it..

When you read the reviews of these sites, you realise most use their own people to better their scores. They are shameless in pursuit of the next victim. I don't trust even the established ones (Elena's Models and Russian Ukranian Women) and I think I'm gonna keep off these sites altogether.

This was a scam tha I ALMOST fell for. I signed up with Victoriabrides as a lark 2 days ago and got immeditely innundated wth requests from attractive Russian ladies (who all seemed to be dying to meet me). Since I didn't think that it was my irrresistable charm over the Internet that cause this, my intial assumption was all of these girls wanted OUT of Russian and were competing with each other for the lucky chance to form some sort of relationship with an American.

I stuck with this for a day and a half, and then the alarm bells'started going off. I was getting hit with a relentless deluge of requests, all from very attractive Russian ladies, who seemed determined to get in touch with me. The pictures I saw were all G-rated, but that does not tell the whole story. Visualize an attractive lady in a bikini who is holding up one shoulder strap of the bikini with her hand and smiling at the camera. Or another one wearing a short dress and pulling up the dress with one hand over her knee (and also smiling to the camera.)

At this point the old saying "If it seems too good to be true, then it probably is" kicked in mentally. I also noticed that any attempt to communicate with any of the ladies directly was blocked by Victoriabrides.

Fortunately I didn't waste any money on this outfit, only a few hours. But I could VERY easily see how someone could be hooked into paying hundreds (or more) dollars to these guys.

Once again, guys: if it seems too good to be true then it probably is.

Scam, scam, scam! keep away from this site!

Just to good to be true... And it is bulls..t.

I haven't even tried to use my credit card here, I would expect getting ripped off.

It's clear that the methods are all about luring a person to spent money on chat room and e-mails.

Tell me, how many, more or less poor country girls from Ukraine, can afford to get maid seriously professional studio pictures? not many in my opinion! But miraculously you do not see just one, ordinary, slightly sloppy, common picture...first warning signs. Second they all look like models, even the old ones!

Profile texts ar standardized, they all have a perfect life and perfect interests plus they are very focused on health, no smoking (Ukrainians smoke a lot, also the youth), and are very interested in keeping themselves fit and sexy...Just for you....... Come on! The next thing is they try convincing us that all Ukrainian men also disappeared overnight (taken by Putin of course) and they need very much that you write so they can make many many baby Ukrainians :-D

Be warned, don't feel tempted and spread the message!

Greetings from Denmark

Guys save youir money do not sign up for this. If you like looking at young ladies than maybe but as far as actually meeting a lady from Ukraine on this site forget it. The number of things that have happened to me in less than two weeks is just ridiculous. i signed up to possibly meet a lady who wanted to move to America and get out of the Ukriane. Probably a weird thought but even at that. Stay away from this site.

one of the ladies who showed interest originally had the name of Viktoria. Then a couple of days later her name was Evygenia. She explained that this was mistake when she signed up. A couple of weeks later I got a wink from this lady while I was chatting and it said Viktoia has sent you a wink.

When I get on the site originally I received so many messages it took almost a day to respond. When you do respnd the ladies are very slow with responses and they go away and come back. They will say can you hold on for 5 minutes and of course you are being charged per minute. then it costs more to send pictures. So you feel obligated to comply and send multiple pictures while it is very diffficult for the lady to respond with her own picture.

I get on the site and I get two messages from the same two ladies three days in a row at the exact same time. What are the odds of the these two ladies being on he site and send message at the exact same time? Their are rumors that the emplyees of the site send messages with the pictiures. Some messages are so vague it became necessary to avoid them.

When you want to quit or remove your profile you suddenly get a lady who wants to come and visit you. She can't speak English some of the time and now she is going to fly from the Ukraine to visit you

Save your money and even your emotions. they prey on busy or lonely men who think this could happen. Search the internet for a happy customer who actually has met a lady from this site. Not one.

Contact the card you use. the company has only been in business a couple of years. the best is they claim to be from Ukraine but the address actually is in Latvia. Do the research as much as you can.

Maybe can't stop the company legally but if enough people ignore the advertisement then maybe this will be enough to drive this company out of business.

Do not trust any online bridal searches. Most, if not all, are very sophiscated scams. Especially the so-called foreign bridal and dating internet sites are very elusive and sophiticated. www.victoriabrides.com is very bad. It seems as if they have a collection of female pictures they use and have "ringers" to pretend to be like these profiled pictures. Almost like these pay for phone sex operators do they operate very elusive.

I spent about $1000 this month of March through victoriabride and only to conclude my analysis as stated above to be true. They are very savvy in what they do and seems to play psychological games to prey upon lonly men in other countries.

I only wish that the FTC (federal trade commission) or some U.S.A. government act upon shutting down these unscrupulous firms.

The federal government can arrest drug dealers to protect the medical and pharmacy industry but refuse to protect prone and lonely men from being defrauded.

Please refrain from using these foreign online dating services. You really do not know if they really operate in the region that they claim to be at.
