I signed up and thought it was going to be a great site. Almost all the girls on it are beautiful but at least attractive. When one logs on the "likes” or emails start flooding in. Most of the initial emails are formula types. After writing several ladies for 3 months I asked to talk on the phone. NO WAY. The emails all begin with "Hi, how are you?” and even after writing for a half dozen times, they are the same.
No one is allowed to exchange regular email addresses of skype/whatsapp, etc. The common response is "I don’t give out my number until we meet.” How will one meet if one cannot make plans? Every girl has multiple model quality photos and all write in perfect English. Not even bilingual people write so well. Starts off with a bang but after 5 months one is still at square one.
I cannot remember how exactly I ended up on the Victoria Brides website. Was it that I was lonely and simply looking for some female companionship? No...sex was not on my mind...I wouldn't be chatting with someone in the Ukraine if that was what I was looking for. I paid a small amount to register and was given 30 chat credits. As soon as I went online I began to get invitations to chat with incrediby beautiful women.
I should have known it was too good to be true...and it was. The 30 'free' credits were used up before my first chat was over...but I was intrigued. I purchased another $59.99 worth of credit and when I went back my mailbox had more invitations to chat. Three of the women were not only attractive but also seemed educated, intelligent and articulate. After spending another $150 on credits I realized that I had to choose. I was particularly intrigued by an apparently lovely woman named Anastasia.
As we got deeper into our exhanges everything began to heat up a little--nothing lewd--just very suggestive. After a couple of days she began to tell me that she had fallen in love with me. Well it all seemed so strange because I was much older. When I asked her about this she told me that "age doesn't matter" to people who are in love. Other women on the site had used the same line so I am sure that whoever is operating the keyboard on the other end is coached to say this. The alarm bells began to ring but I went on anyway. I talked ith her about meeting her in the spring in Prague..and she seemed excited initially. We exchanged a few more emails. I asked her if I could get her email address so that we could carry on outside of a forum that was so costly.
She agreed and explained that I could do it if I contacted the "Moderators". I was told by them that I had to complete an application and purchase 650 credits (which cost about $150.00). I bit. After a couple of days I was told that I had failed to complete my application and it had been rejected. I went online and contacted their online help. They told me that the application would be 'moderated' and a few hours later I was told it had been accepted. So next I went to Anastasia's page and requested her contact information.
That is when everything started to turn inexplicably strange. First I noticed that she became inactive...although she had [apparently] been online for many hours every day up to then. After a couple of days I was told my application had been rejected by Anastasia--the woman who 24 hours before had told me that she was in love with me, my age didn't matter, and that she would meet me in Prague next spring. Should I have known better? Of course....whatever looks too good to be true probably is. The truly bizarre part was that when I went to the page where this would be explained there was a picture of Anastasia looking as beautiful as ever. Her page gives her occupation as model. OK...she's beautiful...she is probably a model but was she the woman (or man) responding on her chat page?
Unfortunately there is no way to tell. But here is the really bizarre part. On this rejection page it is written: "I respect my the chosen one, treat our relationship tremulously because family is a temple. I do believe a family fire should be warmed every single day. I am kind, responsible, creative, economic. Emotional. I consider a lady shall be like a muse for her darling." OK but I guess you don't have a problem leading men on while it is costing them plenty to talk with you. But then you, Anastasia, may not even exist. You may be nothing more than a set of pictures and a human or cybernetic chatbot trained to keep your victims chatting, paying, and paying again.
Sorry--you and the people you work for (if you even exist) are common criminals. Perhaps you should all be thrown 'tremulously' into your 'family fire'. And the real capper is that you are all so sanctimonious and self righteous. I know that life is hard in Eastern Europe and most of you think that Americans are pampered pigs but d**n you all--pickpockets are more honest than any of you. If you want to tell me that you have actually brought people together who become lifelong partners show me verifiable data, not anecdotes. Enough said. Avoid Victoria Brides at all costs.
I hired Mr. Stillinger from Craigslist to paint some rooms in our home. He quoted me a price for 3 rooms which only painted a wall or two in a couple rooms and hall walls. Upon leaving and the paint drying the rooms had different color walls, the ceiling he repaired wasn't painted over, and a hallway wasn't fully painted. Paid his $425 and actually wanted additional work done. When I message him about the messed up rooms he said he would be back on 6/29/2017 to fix the paint. I have messaged and texted Andy and he will not answer a call nor respond to a text message. I definitely WONT pay him to do any other job but would have like the work completed that I paid for. DON'T use him if you can help it. I have half finished rooms and out of hundreds of dollars. VERY VERy unprofessional!
