I've contacted Viagogo multiple times about tickets I purchased and they gave me a run around about locating the seller. I never received my tickets or a refund.
I bought 2 tickets online from Viagogo to see the 'Battle of Brisbane' - a boxing match between Manny Pacquiao and Jeff Horn, held in Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane on 2nd July 2017. I paid $440 per ticket. When the tickets arrived by email about one month later (one week before the fight), they turned out to be Ticketek tickets with a face value of $99 per ticket.
Even with booking fees added to the cost, I believe the markup was extremely exhorbitant. I probably would not have complained if the seats, for the price I paid, was anywhere near the fight ring. But, as it turned out, we were seated so far from the ring that we could only watch from the big screen. The couple seated beside us suffered the same predicament. The wife bought the tickets as a surprise wedding anniversary gift to her husband, but was scolded instead for getting ripped-off by Viagogo.
I believe I am entitled to some refund, and there must be a legal way of stopping internet companies like Viagogo from victimizing unsuspecting people like us.
I purchased tickets online to see billy Connelly at the Cardiff Motor point Arena 5th Nov 2016. I looked for disabled seating and checked that the venue has disabled access. There were no disabled tickets, I went ahead and booked 4 in total. Price:- Face Value £69.52 x4 Total £278.0 8 PLUS Tax £15.8 0 PLUS Shipping Fee £5.95 PLUS Booking Fee £79 Total paid was £378.83 These were e-tickets sent to me via email, so I would argue that this company are in breach of contract. Also add I cannot take my mother who is disabled, I am arguing for breach of contract. Bishop aren't contactable via live chat, email, or support ticket. In fact the only way you can contact them is to write to their offices in Switzerland. I have been ripped off for these tickets and, am in disbelief, that this company are allowed to get away with operating like this.
I am visiting Tokyo and wanted to go to a concert with friends. I bought 4 tickets to Chris Brown concert for $67 each. When I checked my credit card the company had charged me a total of $3396.56. A day later I got another email saying the concert was postponed but new date confirmed yet. Chris Brown is not being allowed in Japan because is on going cases.
I won't be in Tokyo to attend the event and I didnot authorize the amount charged. I have been trying to contact Viagogo but there is an automated reply when you call them. My emails have been responded with an automated reply as well.
This has been the worst experience ever. I want to mke sure that consumers are aware of the fraudulent company. At this point I don't have much hope of getting my money back. Please help!
