This is a for profit company ownder by Ben Scott in Novi, MI. Mr. Scott incorporated in 2014 as ZBS SERVICES, INC. and then created several assumed names in 2017 including the latest one: The Veterans Advocacy and Benefits Association. They made a random call to me to get my support as business affiliate claiming they chose me, but when pressed "Mr. Bracken" could not explain how they chose to call me. He tried to play on my ego by saying that they only call the best people that support veterans so that the veterans looking for help will be able to find the best resources. Obviousely, Mr. Bracken has no idea who I am or if I am any good at what I do.
They have a "Business Directory" that you can be listed in for a small annual fee. They claim that veterans in need of your services will call you when searching for your services in your city. You can do more cities for a higher fee. You can also become a "Veteran Advocate" for a donation of $3.00 per month. They claim to be the fastest growing Veteran Advocacy organization in the United States, which is impossible to prove and is irrelevant--but what else can they fill a website with to impress people?
There are several legitimate veterans advocacy organizations that are not-for-profit and that actually serve the needs of veterans. You won't find anything on the website about who they are or how the money they collect is spent because they are a for-profit corporation created to make money for the benefit of the sole shareholder: Ben Scott. When I called them back to discuss these findings, Mr. Bracken immediately hung up on me.
