Vernal signed a residential lease with me and said that i had to get rid of my furniture that he was going to furnish the entire place no extra charge. After signing the lease getting rid of all of my furniture etc vernal decided he no longer wanted to lease his home to me.
I met with a real estate agent to look at a rental listing. Upon entering the home I was informed there would be a bonus room on the 3rd floor. I was also told Vernal would furnish the home and pay all of the bills. Excited I requested to put in an application. After discussing my credit issues I was told Vernal decided against renting me the home.
Ok fine fast forward a week later and I get a call saying he changed his mind and decided to rent the place to me after all. Great! The only thing left is to sign the lease. VERNAL requested that we meet to sign lease as we did. After signing lease and giving my $3800 deposit I was told I could not bring any furniture to the home and that he would be furnishing EVERYTHING.
A little apprehensive but I proceeded to get rid of all of my furniture. After getting rid of EVERYTHING Vernal then informs me that he is going to lock up a room in the house and I would not have any access to it and the contract would be amended to reflect that. I stated that, that was unacceptable and that the lease did not state anything about not having access to the room and that I had already gotten rid of all of my things because I was told I could not bring it with me.
However VErnal changed his mind and no longer wants to lease me the home. So I have 8 days to find a new place to live and no furniture in my home. Vernal said nothing more to me.
