On March 21st 2015 we filed a complaint with the BBB of Missouri and the Attorney General's office based on unfair business practices with Vendor's Mart. In our complaint we outlined how Vendor's Mart used deceptive practices to take our shelving, approximately $100 worth, along with over approximately $400 in merchandice.
In January of 2015 we moved out of the Springfield area. When my husband went into Vendor's Mart to close out our booth he was told that because we didn't give a months notice we would not be allowed to remove any of the items from the booth, this included four wire shelves, a wooden shelf and a plastic hardware shelf all owned by us and not for sale. We attempted to return in February to remove our items at which time they told us that they had packed everything up and therefore we owed them $94 for removing the items from the booth themselves.
At this time they again refused to allow us any of our merchandise or shelving and claimed that it was locked up. They also refused to release any information about any items that had sold in December 2014 or January 2015.
As of December 2015 we still haven't recieved our shelving or any of the merchandise.
As a warning to other potential vendors we wanted to post this report so that they will not trust this company with anything of value to them.
