This company unbeknownst to me made a $5 charge on my MasterCard I went to use it this morning and didn't have enough money on it so I pulled up the transactions.
I do not know who this is nor did I authorize a $5 charge. I can find no phone number for them or no physical address I don't know who this is or how they got a hold of my information.
Received an email, looked like it came from Home Depot. Said if I took a quick survey about shopping there I would get a Mikata Drill for $5 shipping, so I entered my debit card information and got an email reply confirming an order number and a "Customer Service" number (833-755-0265) that I could call if I had questions or wanted to cancel.
About an hour later I checked my bank and not only was I charged the $5, but also $84.97 to some "merchant" named WORKSDIGI8776372
The CS number is also a scam. When I called they tried to sign me up for a $100 "spending voucher" if I would pay $1.95, again from my debit card. I told them I was calling because I had been scammed out of $84.97, wanted to cancel and have them reverse the charges. The guy was very rude and denied having anything to do with it and said they are a "savings" company, which is BS.
I told him I was reporting them to the authorities and disputing the charge at my bank tomorrow. Didn't matter, he kept insisting they were innocent. Well, we'll see. I'm reporting them to the FCC. I don't have this money to lose and they aren't going to get away with it.

04/02/2022 Received an email saying I had won a free phone. It was completely free except for shipping charges of $5.00. I entered my credit card info. This was all the email said. Later that afternoon, I noticed my credit card had two pending entries for Velocity Fitness. One was for $5.00 and the other was for $84.97.
I called them and they said I'd signed up for their program when I accepted the free phone. They said if I wanted to cancel they would give me half my money back. When I threatened to dispute the charges on my credit card, they finally agreed to a full refund. Time will tell.

Two fraudulent charges on my account. Both processed at the exact same time. One for $5 and the other for $86.
