This is a company that preys off the worry of your vehicle breaking down and tried to bully you into buying the coveragee they offer. it is nothing more than a telemarketing scam to get you to pay for coverage you do not need. The guy I just got off the phone with was rude and told me I had to make a decision right then and there or I would never have the opportunity again and how would I feel if I broke down with my kids in the car. They are shady business people and I would not use them. Very pushy, very rude and when I asked how they got my information he would not verify anything. I believe my name was just sold to marketing is all. TWO THUMBS DOWN
Got this letter in the mail that wanted "immediate response requested" stating that their records indicated that you have not contacted them to have your vehicle service contract updated........ it also said that your factory warranty may have expired or is about to.... When I bought my vehicle, we also purchased extended bumper-to-bumper for 100,000 miles or 10 years....... the letter went on to say "By neglecting to obtain coverage, you will be at risk of being financially liable for any and all high cost repairs.........
I called the 800-734-7203 and asked what this letter was about, she proceeded to tell me that I need to get the extended warrenty. I told her I already did have it and she said No, you do not. It got ugly from there. I don't know if services rendered are actual services or coverage. I think this is total bunk. I'm afraid of older people who can't "catch on" like they use to, how this type of crap would hook them in and they lose money for servcies that are bogus .....
I'm just a concerned citizen who wonders about this company.
I too recieved a pink letter claiming to extend the warranty of my 2003 vehicle from Vehicle Services Department. The letter insinuates that it is time sensitive and I must act immediately. It only gives about a week to respond. Seemed very suspicious to me since it does not include the make and model of my car, or any other details. They also claim they have tried to reach me several times. On top of that it is a second had car for me. I'm 65, and seem to be a target for many different scams...However, they haven't reached a person this time that would be so niave, or uneducated about such scams. I just feel it important to report any such scams to educate those that are more easily swayed and taken advantage of.
I received a stern warning letter, printed on bright pink paper, telling me I must "act immediately" to update my vehicle service contract (I don't have one). There was a deadline about two weeks away, and more warning language, to wit: "By neglecting to replace your coverage you will be at risk of being financially liable for any and all repairs after your factory warranty expires. However, you will still have time to activate your service contract on your vehicle before it's too late. No vehicle inspection will be required." It's easy to see how an older person, persons who are undereducated, who may be English learners -- could be intimidated or confused by such a letter. I did read one such case in the Ripoff files where someone was taken in and did pay them some money. My personal vehicle is a 25-year-old Jeep with 174,000 miles on it, which hasn't seen any warranty in a long time, so it was a no-brainer for me. I hope others will be cautious when getting letters like this, and I'm also going to share this on social media. Thanks for sharing Ripoffs with others.
got five letters each with a different date because i did not respond to the last one each saying this is my last chance to renew my expired or soon to expire auto coverage when i still have another two years or 85,000 miles of coverage!! almost called them till i read other reviews!
Exact same letter received on 6SEP2016. The letter used the telephone number 1-800-734-7203. It made bogus and outrageous claims about my vehicle. I've gotten many shady letters over the years, but this one is by far the most aggressive.
Senior scammed this week , makes me sick I find this afterwards
Got caught up in this scam just a few days ago .As a senior citizen I had no idea it was for my son who is sick & then the guy tell me he needs $399 I said NO then he comes back & says I'll get $259 0r 299 can't remember which then payment s of $267.00 for 18 months on a older car lasts for 4 year or 240,000k miles I didn't know the mileage but it is near 167k he is sick and I thought this would be one less worry for him to deal with the BBB in Florida gave a good rateing for the company but problem is they are the ones who pay not the one who sold the contract which I don't have & then there is a catch to that also 10 days before you can get it if it is ever sent to you then you have to go 1000 k miles or wait 30 days so another payment is taken out .You can not get refunded because you do not have a contract yet or number so you can't cancel & they will not refund your money Omega says they are not the sellers of the contract they just pay so I have no way of know who these people are or what is happening he was suppose to send a email to confirm the info & to this day I have nothing .Plus after going over the payments I will have paid over 5k more than the car is worth .Now I need help trying to figure out how to stop any further payments .This hit at a bad time , tornado hit us car was totaled in my drive way , dog was killed , husband sick and son has health issues really bad .NOT to mention a few thing no where close to everything hitting me at once ,so this guy takes full advantage of this .The law needs to put a stop to these people seniors have enough to worry about being scammed had no idea or power at the time to check this out .Now I see this & worried sick on how to stop them from taking nearly $300 a month out for 18 months guess. I have to close out my account & send them a cancellation letter but have no idea because Omega won't take it. They told me they only over see as a administrator & can't tell me who sold this nightmare. Just thought I would post for others not to fall for this like I did . I was under so much stress that day I thought it would help but it is only helping them get rich off old folks
I'm receiving postal mail from this company stating that I have a service contract for an auto warantee for this company. I don't have any extended warantees or any business with these people. I never did b usiness with them and don't know who they are. They're urging me to renew this policy i don't have or my file will be 'deleted'. They're giving a deadline. I don't who these people are or how this file was created. I am concerned someone is messing with my identity with this. I am reluctant to call the number because i don't know if this is some kind of elaborate phishing scheme.
They sent a letter to my father who is 91 years old and in A nursing home with dementia. Letter says immediate response requested to have vehicle service contract uploaded. It threatens that your file will be deleted from their records after a certain date. He has not driven in 15 years. They are preying on elderly. Additionally, most people do not get much value out of these kinds of contracts. Most of the things covered do not fail often.
"Vehicle Services Department" is a scam because I don't even own a car and they sent me 2 letters in the mail telling me to call 1-800-400-6475 number. Letter states that if I do not respond by April, 4 2018 my "file" will be deleted with them.
I received a letter in the mail saying my warranty was expiring and that I needed to respond immediately. I called the number and they began setting up my new coverage plan and said I needed a down payment of 495 dollars and additional 282 over the next 12 months. Not realizing my warranty has not expired yet I agreed and have paid 495 dollars to this company which i do not want a warranty with because i already have an existing warranty. I would like my 495 dollars back because i dont want a warranty with this scam company.
I received n immediate response letter that looks like my states official paperwork. It claims that I must pay for customer service and upon first glance it looks like they know about my current transmission issues. Something about the way it is written had both my hackels up about demanding payment ro repairs that have not been done, so I googled it. It showed up as a scam. I refuse to be bullied by the 800 number people like others have reported. I may try anyway on Monday & add to this report if I get the same results as others.
I scaned the letter to add to this, but so far have not found where to put it. Will add asap.
I received the pink letter in the snail mail. I have never owned a car. I do not drive a car. I am a senior citizen and do not know how they got my address. Any person or company who threatens with IMMEDIATE RESPONSE is a SCAM. This is not even a real company and they do not have a web site. Don't waste your time and money calling them.
This company sends out "Immediate Response Requested" letter stating that my Vehicle Warranty is about to expire and if I do not renew with them in 5 days, I will be canceled.
I have contacted them via the phone number on this letter some months ago to explain I had paid for/financed extended warranty insurance to up to 75k miles when I purches the vehicle and that as of today's date there are less than $30k on unit.
I requested and clerk agreed to ablige that they take me off their advertisement list.
However, he we are in December, two months later, and I get this notice again.
I own serveral cars and truck and motorcycles and travel trailer and boats and and and. Each one has extended coverage of some sort. It takes time out of my day to go pull that vehicle's file and look to see when the coverage is up.
What can be done to stop these people from contacting me?
Hope someone out there can resolve this for me and a thousand others who I know are dubt into siging up with them simply because they can not remember if this is the company the have a contract with.
I feel this company prays on the elderley like me who sometimes can not remember as well as we used to.
sending me notice after notice that my coverage is expiring. I started getting the notices with my previous vehicle and not even a week after I bought my new vehicle they started coming in with all the new vehicle information. It's harrassment. How did this company find out that I bought a new vehicle so quickly? I purchased extended coverage with the new vehicle and also informed financial company of this situation.
I got this green card in the mail and looked at it, and could tell it was likely a scam. So I looked the phone number up on line, and that brought me to this site.
Everything about the notice looks sketchy. It's got this 1972 typeface on it. It talks about my factory warranty "may have expired." If they were the company holding the warranty or the successor company of the contract, they would know that. The company name is not featured prominently anywhere, just some fine print about "Repair Service Center;" which does not sound like a warranty finance company name anyway, and I can't locate said company in a google search.
I'm sure they just got my information from when I bought this car used and registered it a few weeks ago with the state. That information is public record.
I called them after reading this board, anyway, just for kicks; using a conference room phone in my office in case the try to call back. It just went to some staticy line where the guy kept saying hello and couldn't hear me, then it cut it. I'm done. They don't even have a good phone system set up to run their scam.
I received three green paper letters today with the following numbers to call 1-855-739-3773; 1-888-714-4945; and 1-877-223-5210 to replace my expiring/expired car factory warranty. Not going to bother.

Received a letter today from the Vehicle Services Dept. in Plano TX. Same address as the 2017 post, & on pink paper.
Content of the small print has changed some since the 2013 post, as well as the address.
But it's still the same scam, with a "gentle" threatening tone. Letter indicates it was created on 1-2-2018. Received it on 1-19-2018.
Just wanted to let people know these people are still in business, and that it is a scam.
