On 10/27/16 I ordered Black Tesla 80W TC Starter Kit with an extra tank for $69.90. It was finally mailed out on the 10/31/16 2 - 7-day shipping. It arrived on 11/03/16 at 2PM Via FedEx.
When it arrived, it was missing the extra tank and it was red instead of black that I ordered. On The 4th was my birthday so on 11/05/16 I called and spoke to a woman. She informed me that starter kit did not come with a tank and showed me the fine print on their website that said pick a color but we will send you whatever is available. Had I seen that before I ordered I would not have done business with these people. They offered to return it at my shipping cost back plus a 15% restocking fee or 10% off an additional purchase. I chose to keep it as it was a gift for my wife.
From the first day of use it started having problems. Tank leaked, fire button stuck on and unit got super hot. My wife and I are new to the who vapor world so not knowing what we were doing we ask a friend of ours to look at it. He said that something was wrong we should take it to the local Vape shop and ask them. We took it to two Vape shops and hey both stated the same thing. There is something wrong with the mod and you get it changed out because it could be a fire issue and exploded. I definitely did not want this thing exploding in my wife's pocket.
On 11/11/2016 at 11:54 A.M. EST I placed a call to 678-608-1369. It was answered by Danel of whom stated he was a manager. I had informed him that I needed to return my defective product (tank leaking and fire button sticking on the on position) At that time Danel informed me that I was one day out of their 7-day return policy and even if it had been in the return period that it could not be returned just replaced with a 15% fee and my cost on the shipping. After informing me of this, I was, to say the least dissatisfied. However, after some debate, we found a medium ground. That entitled a paid return label (RMA1668) and no restocking fee with the replacement of the items.
I had inquired as to why the starter kit did not come with the charging cable and the tank for the price like other websites selling the same product. Danel had stated that they could be knock-offs, because Tesla does not supply the tank or the USB cable. Then I stated that it should not be called a starter kit. But after doing some investigation after I got off the phone with Danel, and contacting tesla myself, the statement simply was not true. I then requested the tank that goes with the item in addition to the tank I ordered extra. By doing that, it will help sooth this dissatisfied customer. He responded with
