I bought a $500 Vanilla Visa card in AZ and was charged the usual $6.95. I then used $45 to buy an item online from Poshmark.

The following day the card number was used to buy two $225 gift cards, by someone in person I'm told, in a Stater Bros. Store in Hemit California per the account statement. I still had possession of the card. Stater Bros could identify the cash register and time stamp of the cashier who sold the cards. Vanilla Visa says you can't buy Gift Cards with a Gift Card. But the cashier sold it to the scammers anyway and may have known them. Stater Bros. refused to look into the sale.

That totaled $450 taken of my money. That is a lot of money.

I contacted Vanilla Visa, proved I wasn't in California (I'd never heard of Hemit CA) and they said too bad and hung up on me. They denied the claim.

Stater Bros said it was up to Vanilla Visa to dispute which Vanilla Visa never did dispute. Stater Bros provided *NO* assistance and the "customer service" woman was very rude about it. I tried contacting Poshmark but they have NO WAY to contact them. They have set themselves up so you can not complain or find them.

Beware when using Vanilla Visa or when buying from Poshmark. They are filled with scammers.

Vanilla mastercard purchased at Walgreens went to use it at amazon and was declined called and the vanilla company states I used it to purchase Delta airline tickets last week, that's funny because I just got it the card spent $250.00 on the card and now it was hacked or used.

I called Vanilla again I was told to file a report I did and still waiting for an email that was supposed to be sent to me within 48 hrs now its 2 weeks later nothing so basically I still have the card and Vanilla robed me then raped me disgusting all the people whom you speak to on the phone are nasty mean ignorant and even laugh at you talking to their co workers that you can hear in the background saying hay you got another sucker hahahah.

Well I am here today because this is not funny you are supposed to provide professional service and you fail at every level. We need public officials to step in here and put these criminals down. told me we will send you a email within 48 hrs never did.

I bought my vanilla visa card for some work I had to get done online, I had always considered that it would be safer to complete online transactions with a prepaid card, to avoid identity theft which I have been victim to more than once. Big surprise but the card was declined! I called the number on the back of the card and was told by the answering system the card was expired. When I finally got throught to a real person she tried to assure me this never happens (I suppose Visa has no computer or simply doesnt care what customers think enough to check the reviews) and then she went on explaining how i would have to send a photo of my ID and the recipt and wait 3 days to get a refund. Im loosing out on money everyday I cant make these purchases.They didnt have to wait three days for my cash..

When I questioned the relevancy of my ID, I mean after all it wasnt used for my purchase i was told it was a way of keeping track of who is who.... which again is rediculous because it quantifies nothing really, its just an excuse to wait 3 days to give me the money I suppose It seems I loaned them now, back. Customers who loose thier reciept are SOL, customers who have their receipt are treated like suspects, personal info like DL number, Home address, DOB etc,logged and recorded and kept on file so they can as the customer service representative said "Put a face and adress to the name ". No means of customer service was granted here, they make it obvious they dont want to be contacted, theres no email, a number where its hard to reach a person, the website is always down, has little security, or results in error messages asking the user to try again later. We all give Visa way to much money everyday to be treated this way, i enocurgae you all to call and comlain and BOTTOM LINE STAY AWAY FROM VISA VANILLA , TRY MASTER CARD they have much better reviews. VISA SHOULD BE EMBARASSED TO HAVE THIS BRANCH OF THIER COMPANY ASSOSIATED WITH THEM.

Vanilla Visa Company is a dishonest and deceptive corporation. They allow merchants to process unauthorized purchases. When customers inform them of the dilemma, they do nothing to correct the matter which basically confirms they are in agreement with the criminal behavior. They do not have the customer's best interests at heart.

Prepaid vanilla visa for $100.00 I made one purchase &16.00, the following day there was a $80.00 unauthorized charge made that customer service could not trace or intervene. The only person that had my card number asking for the 3 digit code on back was.the customer service rep named Bertram, that helped me activate my zip code. I believe they are either selling the numbers or using themselves within the company. I filed dispute case with Chuck and he seemed very cocky as though this happens often and come a complaint with whomever you want. I am still waiting for info from dispute dept, two weeks after promised date. NEVER trust prepaid credit cards or give out info to ANYONE!!!!!!
