Vacation Redemption Center Reviews
Vacation redemption Centre
We received a Cruise certificate to be redeemed through vacation redemption Centre website for a free cruise andor for a discount. Creating a profile on their website was easy and we searched up cruises that we were interested in. Mind you selection for Free cruises was very limited and may be for an off-season. Let's be realistic, one can't expect to be fed great food, taken to different ports, entertained and great service for more than 3-4 days for 2 people. If you are not picky on dates and where you want to go then you could cruise for free for 2 for 3-4 nights. Port taxes and $25 USD admin fee is all you are responsible for if you decide to redeem for a free cruise.
We redeemed our certificate for a 7 night cruise on Princess using their website. Of course we paid extra for an upgrade from Free to 7 night but saved over $400 USD on a cruise for 2. I compared prices to all major provides including cruise providers website for almost 3-4 weeks. This proves that these guys are not scam. Princess had changed our cabins from front of the ship to the back of the ship without our knowledge and age from redemption centre fixed it for us. There was definitely some wait time when I called them but I didn't mind the wait.
Bottomline: There is a max underlying value for these certs. ($300-$500) and Vacation redemption ctr is not a scam.
If you have not activated your certificate and have no plans to use that certificate then please let me know. We cruise all the time and would appreciate the gift from someone awesome like you. Just need the Cert # and expiry date. You don't need t provide any other info.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
I, too, have been on hold all day listening to the same obnoxious voice over and over again for HOURS. It's a Monday afternoon, not a holiday. There's no ability to leave a callback number and no email provided anywhere to contact them. What a scam.
We received a cruise certificate for attending a sales pitch for diamond resorts. the certificagte gives instructions for using the vacationremptioncenter.com website to activate the certificate, When you enter all of the information, you get a page not found.
I called the supposed human contact number and received a recording that no one was avaiable to take the call and to call back later. I've tried all day and got the same message. This is Friday so the company should be open. but nobody answers!
What a scam
Received a 4 day free Cruise because we went to a Diamond/EMBARC presentation. But finding out this free cruise cert is useless. As directed fegisted my certification thru Privileges Redemtion Center and went on to book our cruise from their website. Found the cruise I wanted n wanted to upgrade to oceanview suite for a few dollars more but could not book thru this website even though it said cabin were available so called CS and they said sorry but this cruis n suite is not available. CS said website had not refreshed yet now I was booking for a Nov cruise. What a rip off. Oh forgot to tell me there was a $99.00 activation fee.
Get ready to be frustrated
I have cruise certificates. After activation, if I click to book a vacation their website just sticks. Acts like it wants to load a page but never does. I've been talking to them about this for over a month. They keep telling me that they're looking into it but nothing changes. Looks like no cruise for me.
stay away -a scam
activation site will not take information --just kicks out and says no such code numbers--have been on hold for 36 minutes --no matter how many times you call same result
