I sent my I phone 6+ 64g to usell and was emailed by them saying that they had received my phone and that they were going to check over my phone then issue me out a check of $55. that was the last email I received from them so after its been since October I emailed them and said where is my check they told me that my phone was missing a component in my phone and that they had recycle my phone. Never did I give them permission to just keep my phone without them sending me my money. They emailed me saying that they recycled the phone but I have did business with them before in the past and have never had a problem such as this one before. My son also has a phone that we were going to send off to them at that same time but did not receive a box. I'm thankful that they did not send the Box because I would be out of two iPhones. At this moment I just need someone to help me because I don't think that this is fair that they're ripping people off. having them send in their devices under the impression that they are going to send out a check and in regards to send an email stating that they recycled a phone that was paid over $900 for I could have just sold it for parts on Craigslist or to a phone shop I will never do business with usell again thank you for your help.
This is the text I have just sent to the New York State Department of Consumer Affairs. Next stop is the office of the New York State Attorney General. Since uSell will not lift a finger to contact their buyer, CellGiant on my behalf, I decided to let the system come after you. Next stop will be a blitz campaign on social media.
I sold my iPhone 6 online to uSell on November 13 and received a return packet to ship the phone to their buyer, CellGiant in Orrstown, Pennsylvania. It took two days for CellGiant to pick up the phone at the Lamberville, NJ Post Office, and to date (it is now 8 days since they picked-up the phone at the post office), I have heard nothing from them. I have sent three e-mails to Imani at uSell who keeps sending me the same stock e-mail response...keep your eyes on your e-mails, etc. They refuse to contact their buyer to expedite this and this is getting very frustrating. They promised me $140.00 for the phone but I have a feeling that I will never see it as I have not heard a thing in over a week. Other cell phone buying companies like Gazelle do not do this to their customers.
My next stop is the NY State Attorney Generals Office as I need to bring this to everyone's attention and we can stop uSell and CellGiant from doing this to any more New York consumers.
