Same as everyone else. Thought I paid $1.95. I've now been billed three times for $14.99. Filed a dispute with my credit card company and with the FTC.
Warning to not use US Car Report from this business here: http://www.uscarreports.com. Their site says that it is $1.98 to see car report but after you paid them, a small text shows up and says that you are stuck in a 3 month contract with them. This happens after you have paid what you think is $1.98. Also all the car reports are the same, I've tried and enter a Salvage car VIN # into their system to test, and it didnt show up. I then tried abotu 7 different car VIN #s and they all shows the same report.
If this had happened to you, please report them. They are completely a Fraud and people need to be aware of their business.
I clicked on an offer to try "their carfax" report one-time for $1.95. The "carfax" type report was useless (no information). Then I received an acknoledge email thanking me for my $14.99 anual subscription to their service. I responded immediately with a "cease" request as I did not ask for that service (only the one-time trial report for $ 1.95). No response from them and a subsequent bill for $14.99 on my credit card. THIS IS A SCAM...........
I signed up last month, now I am being billed monthly. This is a total scam.
I reported the site to ftc.gov. I encourage everyone to report it asap, so they get sued and shut down. Wish I would've done more research before I bought. Beware of the fine print
