I need it a legal edvice from an attorney, while browsing the internet, I have stumbles across a company called : " usalegalresource.com". Their invitation on the web side sound it very nice and promising to find that Wright attorney for my frustrating despute that I'm gonna have to resolve. Sure sounded easy: just contact them, and they will connect me with list of lawyers. Wow! Sounds great! $3.95 Will give me a trial membership for 7 days to test it, I can cancel at any time!? And If I like it after the 7 says it will cost $34.95 ,I belive. Ok, I thought to my self, if the find me a good attorney that's knowledgeable in my particular issue... It will be worth it!? Wright? WRONG!
When I was talking to one of their reps on the phone, trying to sign up, he clearly asked me, what state and what kind of problem was it. I told him that I just moved to Nevada, but the dispute was in North Carolina, where I had resided there for 5 years. And I was seeking tenant / lanlord legal edvice. No problem, I can help you with all that, he assured me. They will send me list of attorneys that I will be able to talk to and perhaps find one that I e I'll like the most. I agreed...but just before he asked me for my bank information, he started offering me some other promotions, I couldn't tell you what that was, because I wasn't interested and I cut him off , and said -" No, thank you " . He didn't take no for an answer and continued, saying -" Are you sure, you're missing out on a great deal" , again while he was trying to continue of convincing me , I again cut him off. And said -" Sir, I'm not interested in nothing else, if I change my mind, I will call you. Now, all I want is to be conected with an attorney. Ok? He clearly heard me, and responded with ok. I have him my bank info and was told to check my email with in 24 hrs. (This was friday)
Sooooo.....here is where my frustration starts.... I checked my email on Sunday to see whom I will be getting in contact with on Monday morning. The rep that I spoken to on friday, he was so focused on trying to sell me other offers that he must not heard me telling him that my problem and finding a solution was in North Carolina. All the lawyers info I received was in Nevada. Ok, small mistake, wrigh? So I called back the "usalegalresourse" Monday morning about the misunderstanding and I was told they will sent me another email with NC area attorneys. And they did. I received 5 attorneys contacts. Didn't wanna waste any time so I called.
So far, 3 out of 5 that I spoke to, turned me away, because they don't specialize in " tenant/ landlord" cases. The other two didn't answer so I left a message to call me back. Why did the rep asked me what kind of attorney I'm seeking? So far the $3.95 has bought me another dead end. Also, so happend, I checked my bank account and the other offers that the rep was trying to sell and I refused.... I was charged $19.95 Monday morning. They are a froud. That really set off red flags for me, so I Googled to see about this company's complaints. And sure ENOUGH, they do the same to others. They had no weight to change me the $19.95, but they did it any ways!!!! And the lawyers... I think they get that from like a yellow pages and sent you what ever pops up. They don't do reserch and try to connect you with the lawyers that much the criteria,! Very upset! Wasted time, money and more frustration!! *
Called to cancel within the time alloted to cancel. Gave me cancellation number, yet charged my card a week later. Refused to give refund in a timely manner
