I received a telemarketing phone call from Industrial Supplies inquiring about my office functions and did I order supplies. I replied yes I do. He said do you use and he named a bunch of things before he said plastic ziplock bags. I said yes for parts. so he asked about a couple sizes and I said 3 x 5 sounded good, to whcih he said he's send me some samples and he'd like to include a small token of appreciation. Would I prefer a flashlight or a pen or some small object, I don't recall. I said the flashlight would be nice. He confirmed my name and said i said I'd receive them soon.

A week or so goes by, I forget about the coversation. THen I receive a case of plastic bags and a flashlight with no invoice. I am shocked by the "sample" quantity. I wait to get another phone call seeing how I like them. A week goes by, I go on vacation for a week, another week goes by. Then the accounting manager asks me if I ordered these bags and shows me an invoice for $119.98 plus handling charges from US Office & Industrial Supply. I said OMG, I agreed to receive a sample of bags which turned out to be a 1/2 case, but there was no invoice or I would have called right away and returned them. So she said you did receive them then I'll pay it. I thought about it for a minute and said no, let me call them, this isn't right.

Before I picked up the phone I typed in the name of the company in Google search. I typed in U.S. Office & Industrial and before I could finish, the autofill kicked in and said Supply complaints. I clicked on that and low and behold they are a sleezy company trying to steal money from people. If accounting is in another location and they get a bill, they might just pay it. Well not here. We're a close group and we saved $142.

If they call to find out how I like their product, I will tell them we are not paying for the "sample bags", if they want me to return them, I will gladly do that on their dime.

This company contacted us on in March 2016 to try to sell us packing tape. The sales person said it would only be $1.01 per roll with no taxes, shipping or other fees. I did not want to purchase, but the lady agreed to do a simple one time trial shipment of only 6 items for us to try.

I repeated to the sales lady.. "So, you are saying I can purchase a total of only 6 rolls, in the amount of $6.06 TOTAL with no other shipping, taxes or any other kinds of fees?' She said "Yes, that is right," I then stated Ok.. I will accept a one time only shipment of 6 rolls of tape for the total amount of $6.06 with NO OTHER, fees of any kind, nor any kind of reoccurring shipments, no other agreements or any monies due except the $6.06 or else this woule be considered a breach of agreement of this order. She said "Yes, that is correct." I agreed to the shipment.

When I received the package a couple of days later they had sent **18**. I contacted the company and Laurie the supervisor said I could ship it back. I told her to send a call tag for it. Laurie also said there was a minimum shipment of 18. I told her that I ONLY agreed to 6. She was not the least apologic about the situation, but did send a call tag,

The next day after receiving the call tag and shipping the items back we received an invoice for $126.56, which included handling fees. They lied and tried to rip us off. Do NOT do business with them
