My husband and I hired this company to cancel our timeshare completely. We had paid in full and did everything they needed from us. In the meantime we are still getting Timeshare calls and I'm thinking this has been resolved, but little did I know, this company, US Consumer Attorneys haven't completed their job and still have the account open and gaining interest fees and the taxes and fees on this account. I did not look at the account for this whole time, and when I went to delete it, I noticed it still had a balance and was accumulating more and more with it. I'm so upset by this!
They assured me they would get me out of a time share contract. They took over $9,000.00 up front and never provided any further communicaations. Attempts to contact them went unanswered. No services were ever provided.
On Nov 6, 2016, I engaged the services of USCA who guaranteed to terminate our Wyndham timeshare in 12 months or less. I was sent a copy of a letter where USCA supposedly had contacted Wyndham, telling them that USCA waqs representing us, and they sent us forms to send to credit agencies, in case Wyndham took actions that might damage our credit rating.
As the months progressed, I contacted USCA several times, asking to speak to one of their attorneys, indicating that I was not receiving adequate communications from them and that I wanted to know what was being done. I never got to speak to an attorney, only a spokesperson who told me that they were working on the case and that they would soon terminate the timeshare contract.
On Nov. 2, 2017, I contacted my credit card company and filed a dispute, asking for my money back. I also contacted USCA and told them that I wished to cancel the contract within the one-year timeframe. I have yet to get a response from USCA.
We were promised on dec 1 2016 that htese attorneys would guarantee getting out ( a release) from Westgate Town Centrer Resort & Spa purchase of a timeshare that was so9ld to us under quetionable sales practice. I have the whole letter from theseattorneys giving me a file # 112016864. I had correspondsed with them a couple of times but today when I tried the phone number it was disconneted. I guess we have lost the $4895 . I checked out the website back in Dec 2016 and there were no complaints .
