United Midwest Savings Bank First Mutual Finance This bank gave out about 100 loans, which I consider to be predatory in nature, in collusion with a company called Trusii. These water machines costed consumers between $7600 and $10,000 and were purported to be effective in treating many illnesses.
Trusii wrote contracts to all its clients, promising to pay the monthly loan amount for participating in a medical case study. Trusii, after getting their money up front from United Midwest Savings Bank, then stopped paying the loans, which was a breach of contract.
Upon contacting UMWSB, they refused to look into this and instead hired an attorney to stonewall everyone who was victimized by this ponzi scheme. Law enforcement has stepped in and 2 banks have already forgiven the loans and are now suing Trusii for fraud.
Further, UMWSB did not do their due diligence in valuating these loans - Chris Kennedy, the CEO of Trusii wasn't even named on the LLC. This was also no legitimate case study, as there was no medical supervision. Chris Kennedy had already been arrested and convicted of Federal Fraud and UMWSB did not care to notice this or didn't do their due diligence.
The BBB of Cleveland has forced another bank to have Trusii buy back their loans and repay their customers any overpayments due. Even after all of this, UMWSB refuses to do the right thing, morally and ethically and is forcing victims to continue to pay for these bogus loans and threatens to damage their credit if they do not.
After emailing and directly calling them, UMWSB has been rude, dismissive and plain mean at times. I would not recommend this bank to anyone and I believe they are unethical at the highest levels. Columbus Ohio
