United Consumer Financial Services Company Reviews

I am the victim in a fraudulent case study that was created by the company trusii (Co-Owners Chris Kennedy and Jeff Taraday). They started a case study program for their hydrogen water systems where participants like myself were promised to have their machines paid for (my machine retails for $10,000) in exchange for feedback and participation in the three-year case study.
I like many others was connected by trusii to a financing company (United Consumer Financial Services - UCFS in my case) to take a loan out for three years (36 monthly payments of $360) for the machine and trusii agreed to send me a payment amount of $350 each month for my continued participation in the study to help cover the loan.
It turns out the the machines and the case study itself are a scam and trusii never intended to honor their agreements and pay the case study participants after receiving the upfront money from all of the loan companies. A couple of loan companies (LendingPoint and GreenSky) have already forgiven case study participants from their loans due to the details of this case and the fraud surrounding trusii and their malfunctioning hydrogen systems.
I am hoping my loan company UCFS does the same but they have not done so yet. UCFS did not do their due-diligence before approving these loans and are actively enforcing loans that are for a fraudulent scam/case study with machines that are breaking down and not functioning as promised (with little to no health benefits).
Purchased a Kirby vacumn, and paid it off in payments, then close to end of payments, we had to relocate due to destruction of our condo due to bad weather storms, so called up United Consumer Financial Services and totally paid it off by phone with credit card. Asked guy on phone if it was completely paid off and there would be no fees or other monies owed, and he assured me there would not be. He told me at the end of our conversation, that there would be a letter coming but to ignore it and it would go away, and they might contact me by phone and I then could request a letter from them stating it was paid off in full. I thought that was pretty strange but dismissed it. Anyway, just recieved a letter today, almost a year later that I owe $8.02, and they have reported to the credit bureaus (4 of them) about my default/late payment/missed payment, and this was an attempt to collect a debt.
This is unbelievable, and makes me look bad when I am in the process of getting approved for a home loan, and doing everything I can to keep my credit in good standing. I pay my bills, and I paid this vacumn in full, and after almost a year later I recieve this? Unacceptable. I wonder how many people have had rip off dealings with these people. They are extremely difficult to get ahold of, deal with and even make payments to. If at all possible, do not deal with these people for any reason, or you WILL have issues.
Bought a Rainbow Vacumm Cleaner. The salesman came to my house after they states that i won a vacation package. They used this strategies to be able to have a demostration of the products at your home. During the demostration they ask you to provide a names of friends, homeowners, to go have a demostration on their home. They alleged that doing that i will enter in a monthly sweeptakes with big prices. After the demostration, they sold me the vacumm, uitlizing the United Consumer Financial Servides to finances the product. The total amount of the products with interest were not disclosure. at the end they alleged that i own almost $4000.00 for the Rainbow Vacumm. At the beginning of the contract the had problems to take the payment from the banks on two occassions. however, afterwood, they was able to take the payments, Even that they still sending back credit reports to the credit bureau, even they received the payment. i try to contact them to give the product and was unsuccesfull.
United Consumer Financial does not send out monthly statements like regular financial institutions. You have to call them to find out what your balance is (if you are not using their coupon book). Each month I have to call and request a letter from them indicating the balance and payoff amount. Get with it UCF! I should be getting a monthly statement especially since you are debiting my account for your payment.
Do not ever use this company. We were talking to them bc VIP MARKETING was null and void. The supervisor told the lady on the phone after we explained that this was a scam for this stupid vacuum, said give them bags, belts , whatever but we will not cancel this contract. Shady much??? So as we are speaking with them...you understand ..phone tag lol.. They called my husbands BOSS. WTF ...why would you do this ? We were in constant contact trying to get rid of this dinosaur that you all...VIP MARKETING , seem to play a good game. Now if I talk to you the same day...WHY are you calling my husbands boss?? This company has so many bad reports.. Going to file with the FTC. I mean really ...WHY would you called my husbands boss the same day we spoke??? Yes we were late one day. But we were hoping that someone had some clarity on the situation.. WAIT?? WHAT??? Thats right...all about the money. Hope you choke on it.
