This is the worst automotive customer experience I have ever endured.
They do everything within their power to not address a very serious problem I have with a 2021 330e.
I was met with nothing but contempt by their service department by Clarke Grande and finally the service manager Bryan White.
They have closed my ticket out without offering any solution to my problem.
They are refusing to address the service concerns of my vehicle.
I have sustained an injury from the transmission slipping and the gear engaging violently.
With the high torque of an electric motor: this is a rather serious problem. You are having quite a bit of energy pushing forward the car all at once.
This has caused a tear in my rotator cuff: which I didn't find out about until days later.
They have ended the service session without addressing the concerns and: the service tech, the foreman, and the service manager have declared the car "Safe to drive": without actually doing a single thing to address the problem.
Now I am paying for an expensive 330e that I am deathly afraid to drive.
Left with no resolutions, hostile contempt filled communications with the dealer and no light at the end of the tunnel.
They are treating me not as a customer: but as a criminal who is trying to get a fast one by them: by insisting they honor a warranty repair.
I have had BMW, Audi, Toyota, Honda, Lexus: many cars in my life: and never have I had as poor of an experience as I have had with this dealership. This problem has literally turned my life upside down: and the dealership could really care less about addressing my concerns.
I will make it my life's mission to make sure the public is aware of their poor practices engaging in customer service.
I am having a major problem with a 2021 330e I purchased from United BMW in Alpharetta GA.
I have a problem where the transmission slips causing the gear to violently engage. The torque of the electric motor is so great that the force asserted to the vehicle is immense. The force was so immense that it sustained an injury to my rotator cuff. I feel in no way this car is safe to drive.
I brought the vehicle in for warranty repair. Every attempt to downplay, point fingers, sidestep, divert responsibility, protect posterior, was done. Absolutely no action or proposed action was implemented to address the concern of the sudden and violent jolts forward the car produces.
I am just a reasonable person looking for a reasonable response to a rather serious problem.
I merely want the 50k car I paid for to be safe and functional.
It appears as though there does not exist a reasonable person I can talk to in order to discuss alternative approaches towards resolving this matter
