Hello, My vehicle was recently involved in a car accident where the other driver had ran a stop sign and T-boned my vehicle. Calling Unique Insurance Co at first seemed very reassuring, they were quickly able to tell me to take my vehicle into the local auto shop they had contacted to draw up an estimate of the damages to my vehicle. D&R Auto body shop told me to expect a call from the insurance company by Monday, this was last month. Since I have taken my vehicle in for an estimate, every time I have called Unique Insurance, they inform me that my claim has been assigned to "adjuster" by the name of Laura Valuum. After calling over 100 times in the last month and leaving countless voicemail messages, it appears that progress through insurance has reached a stand still. Even calling the supervisor brings you to her voice mail. Is there anyone working here other than the initial people you speak to on the phone? This is very unprofessional practice and reflects very poorly on the company, I have been unable to take my car to work and get things done. This was through a car accident that was not even my fault. My Claim number is 15ILP15711 .
On June 9, 2015 at 5:10am my car a Nissan Sentra 2014 was hit real bad by a guy that was driving a Mercedes Benz trying to get away from four other guys. The four guys were trying to kill him and in the process of him getting away he struck my car and damaged it pretty bad. I called unique insurance and they were not open yet. So I had to wait until 8:30 am for them to open. I called back at 8:30am and made a claim. I spoke with someone, I don't remember their name but the person did tell me that my adjuster name was Nancy. I called Nancy and called her and left messages and she didn't call me back. I kept calling Nancy for two weeks or more and I still never got a call back. I called again and I kept getting transferred to Nancy or her supervisor and I always got their voicemail. About 4 weeks later Nancy called me and says that Preferred Auto Collision was going to come and get my car. But it took them 3 days to come get my car and almost a month for them to start fixing my car. I still haven't gotten my car back yet.
