The review you submitted on Bizapedia for Unicorn Crafts Inc. has been approved. By Michelle N. Vancouver, WA September 24, 2019 I googled "American Airlines phone number” and called the phone number that came up, which was 1-800-368-9165.
When you call it says "Reservations” then uses the same hold music as American Airlines, so I had no idea it wasn’t them I was calling. I had tried to book the flight online, but the flight was for a minor, and it wouldn’t allow me to.
"Jason” the rep who answered, offered to book the flight for me, but the price had gone up, it is no longer $418 as the web site says, those flights are sold out, and it’s now $598. I asked for a supervisor, who told me the same thing, but they would kindly waive the $90 seat change fee for me.
I was extremely upset, but felt like I didn’t have any choice and gave him my card number. I noticed my visa reflected that $418.00 charge only. He texted me the American airlines record number for my son and in the text explained that the other charge for $180 for taxes and fees would show up as Unicorn Crafts Inc. That is when I became suspicious.
I called the real American Air and they said they booked the flight online by changing my son’s birth year and actually booked the flight. I had to cancel my Visa (which has all of our direct deposits coming out of it) and am disputing the charge.
These guys sounded so legit on the phone. I want to share this with anyone that will listen.
