Too good to be true

Just received a call from a Patrick Evans who seemed quite credible. He indicated he was with Td bank for 3 years and has brokered many car deals. He was a very fast talker and insisted that the $500 was only a small part of his profit on the vehicle. His 'buyer' had trouble securing a loan and his interest rate ( approaching 20%) was where he made his money. Sound familiar? Don't fall for this. I consider myself lucky.

I got scammed by ultimateusedautos.com and autosellonline.com

They promised that they had a buyer for my car, I fell for it. $495 USD to secure the sale of my car to a high-risk buyer who had never even seen my car. These guys are good. They got my Vin number, posted a shitty ad on their website, even after claiming that they had secured a buyer. Dont fall for this crap. They will give you a bunch of fake names, even though it is all the same person you are dealing with. All of the departments use the same email [email protected] and [email protected] . Dont fall for it. They will be very reluctant to issue any kind of refund, even during the 3 day cancellation period where you should only be charged USD$195 as per their terms and conditions.

I got scammed by ultimateusedautos.com and autosellonline.com

They promised that they had a buyer for my car and I fell for it hook line and sinker They charged me 495 USD to secure the sale of my car toa high-risk buyer who had never even seen my car. They promised me that there was no way for the deal to fall through. These guys were very convincing. They got my Vin number, posted my add on their website even after claiming they had a buyer. Thats when the scam really takes off. I call them relentlessly and then all of a sudden there was all these excuses and other buyers.

10 months later I still have my car. Even after they convinced me to drop the price nothing. When I finally started to push the issue they accused me of cyber bulling and said there will not be any refund. There never was going to be a refund anyway. Dont fall for this crap. They will give you a bunch of fake names and places.

I dealt with many differant guys and at the end they became very rude. All their email responses are just canned letters. I also have a friend who got scamed by them as well and has gone through the exact same thing.

Learn from my mistake and stay away from them.

I have posted my car on for sale in December 2017 and this company(Ultimate Used Autos) contacted me saying that they have a potential buyer for my car and I refused it at first and after a day they contacted me again begging me that i should let them to have business with me. And I fell for it as my mom was sick and I told them that I need to sell the car to travel. They promised me that my car will be sold within two weeks as I informed them that i need money within two weeks or else I will not sell my car. They assure me that there is fee that they are charging me is fully refunded whether my car is sold or not.

The Sales rep name Tiffany said these are my words to you that your car will be sold in two weeks. She never introduces me that they are an advertising company, all they told me that they have a buyer which sounded like they are car selling company but they not. She never told me that they will charge me in $USD, she made every possible lie/misleading information to make that sale as she was taking the advantage of my situation. She told me i need to sign a permission from that i am being accountable to hand them over the car once they have done their process for the buyer but after a while, i figured out that was a contract after a while

They will give you a bunch of fake names, even though it is all the same person you are dealing with. Don't fall for it its completely Fraud. They will be very reluctant to issue any kind of refund, even during the 3 day cancellation period where you should only be charged USD$195 as per their terms and conditions which I contacted them within 3 days of time to cancel the contract but they still did not as they kept saying that the buyer is in the process with the bank to get the loan.

They use the same email [email protected] and [email protected]. All they send you is pre-drafted emails.

Their sales Rep James is very Rude he will call you every name on this earth just to shut you up.

I have asked my phone calls records to proof them what I was promised but they refused because they are liers.

So please don't fall for it.

Made me a bunch of promises, sold me on their business, 4 months went by and nothing, broken promises, my story is almost identical to the others complaining.

After posting an ad on Kijiji to sell my 2010 Nissan Rogue I was aggressively approached by a firm, Ultimate Used Autos, to take over the sale of my vehicle with a promise and guarantee to fetch the optimum price in the timeliest of manners without any hassles.

The company promoted that they financed individuals with very poor credit and their model was to get top dollar for vehicles charging very high interest rates for those who otherwise could not secure financing. They also lied to me that they had a few clients interested in my specific vehicle waiting to purchase.

The only catch was an upfront $495USD fee for their services. This clearly was a red flag but these guys were very good and convincing and it all looked legit at first so with the aggressive sales tactics I foolishly took the bait.

After 3+ months my Nissan was still not sold. In fact it was a period of constant excuses while I constantly chased them for updates and explanations on why the car was not being sold. I even dropped the price 2x to no avail and eventually gave up and sold it to a colleagues father for a much lower price. Over and above the $495USD fee for nothing I had to incur months of additional costs for insurance, maintenance, etc. etc. while I waited for this company to do nothing.

Once my vehicle was sold I approached them to give them the chance to refund my money but of course more excuses were issued and my refund was denied… clearly they are in breach of contract but of course are fraudulent and have no intentions of refunding anyone’s money.

After some investigation and contacting Kijii it was confirmed that this was a known scam and I was a victim. I do not expect to ever recoup my $495 but wanted to help ensure others are not ripped off in the same manner so hence why I'm posting here. Ideally I would hope this fraudulent company is shut down and these fraudsters arrested but they likely are slick enough to avoid this type of prosecution. I'm working with other agencies to try and shut them down.

I know this is not a serious crime but nonetheless it is fraud and I don’t want to just sit by idly while others are taken advantage of.

Stay clear of these fraudsters and don't fall for their smooth talking...

They tracked our vehicle for sale in our local ad magazines/online and said that they had a buyer who had bad credit. We just had to give them over $600 U.S. dollars to "officially post our vehicle on their site.

SCAM!!! They lied each time we called and they kept saying they were waiting on the bank. They never had a buyer. They kept saying he was from Leamington (city close to us) and becasue he had bad credit it would take much longer.

When we cancelled it on our credit card, Ultimate Used Autos provided our credit card company with an ad that "we paid for". BUT GUESS WHAT - THEY NEVER SOLD OUR VEHICLE. THEY DON'T OPERATE IN GOOD FAITH. THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!! They have a website set up and know just how to word things in their emails.

Don't fall for the scam. We lost out. :(

Crooks - Don't fall for it

I was scammed too.. should have known better but fell for the guarantee to get top dollar, hassle free and timely. $495USD and 3+ months later after chasing them constantly and being pelted with excuses nothing happened. I finally sold it myself. Please don't work with these crooks and over and above this post I'm going to do everything I can to shut the fuckers down.

Was selling my truck and these crooks called me from a non-traceable number after saying they saw my ad on Kijiji. Said they had multiple buyers for my car SIGHT UNSEEN. They ask for a credit card number for a $495 FEE WHAT A SCAM. Luckily I have common sense and knew this was a joke but after googling showed me these guys are linked to yourautorealtor.com and all the SCAM reviews I knew it was a joke. These guys told me to trust them as they have sold TENS OF THOUSANDS OF CARS.

They just want your credit card number. NEVER GIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO ONLINE PEOPLE. Sucks to see people have been fooled by this READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS THIS IS A WELL MANICURED SCAM. If you fall for it, YOU WILL NEVER SELL YOUR VEHICLE AND YOU WILL NEVER GET A REFUND FROM VISA SINCE YOU AUTHORIZED THE PAYMENT.

Their website is sketchy as f**k, should be enough. Do not answer them if they email you or call you. THEY WILL REPLY TO THESE THREADS ACTING LIKE THEY ARE ACTUAL CLIENTS WHO PAID HIGH INTEREST RATES but that is a lie as well.

IF IT IS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT PROBABLY IS.
