In three plus months of corresponding with thus company I have tried to give these guys the benefit of the doubt. Instead, I ended up getting burned.
Here are some of the shady business practices UAV Systems did... 1. Stated on their website that their company knows every drone law and that you can get a permit in that country for them when their company doesn't actually know the regulations (lying about their service). 2. Told a customer or potential client they don't want to look up a permit regulation because it's hard or not many people go to that country (are you kidding me on this? I am an external auditor. If I ever told my boss or client I didn't feel like doing a task because it was hard or difficult I would be fired). 3. Made clients / potential clients wait for three plus months about inquiries related to whether permits are required (again this is a core part of this service line. If their company's lofty claims were honest, they should have had provided these in ten minutes, not three plus months). 4. Kept asking when my departure date would be and deliberately delaying, not replying to messages online, and not sending the agreed upon list. Intentionally waiting until after my flight date to email me without the list asking how everything was going. This delay tactic of theirs was extremely manipulative and if they really cared about keeping me as a customer they would have sent it weeks or months earlier and before my flight as they had promised, not sending five emails of nonsense stalling and complaining instead. 5. Their communication was so inconsistent. They messaged me back quickly initially but then when it comes down to their one responsibility (providing the list) surprise surprise they were nowhere to be found. No message answering, and when I called one if the reps back he answered his name as someone else! If Chris isn't even his real name at minimum keep he should keep his multiple shady businesses seperate or have a different line for personal calls. The company's call center is extremely loud and unprofessional and to make a guess sounds like a shared apartment shared by the three company employees using fake addresses and Google voice accounts to seem bigger than they really are. If they do call customers or have a phone service they should at least give them something with a respectable level of noise as their background noise levels were so loud I couldn't here 90% of what they said. Very unprofessional. 6. The list they finally sent after I departed for my trip was extremely vague, basic, and looked frighteningly inaccurate with the same errors about Portugal, Turkey, and several other countries exist making me quite skeptical that they had even done any research at all. 7. It is bullsh* to ask anyone outside their company to research the permit rules and regulations for them. How reasonable is it for a company who receives money to service drone permits to ask paying customers to do their research and work for them. If that's the case, they are both taking clients money and not doing any work. This is purely criminal.
