I have been a customer of AT&T for years. I have not changed or added any long distance companies - ever.
I started receiving monthly "invoices" (amount monthly - $8.94) in the mail from U.S. Telecom Long Distance, stating that they are now sending me their "bills" directly, that my long distance is now separate from my AT&T bill. One problem with that - I am paying AT&T for my long distance.
I called AT&T and they confirmed that they are my long distance carrier, and there is no connection with any U.S. Telecom company.
I found online numerous complaints against this company; evidently fraud is their business.
They continue to send me "past due" invoices every month. I have no intention of paying them for services that I pay to AT&T. I wonder how many people out there have been scammed by this company.
