I was trying to get a wireless modem for my lake house in Maine. I could not get one locally as the local stores said they didn't have any. I could not order on line because I did not live where the modem was to be shipped. I called Executive Appeals and spoke with Patrick Foster who apparently reports to the CEO. He was horrible; condescending, officious and generally unfriendly. He clearly enjoyed telling me no. He made no effort to find a solution to the problem like shipping a modem to the store in Brewer, Maine.

Ultimately, my nephew went to the Brewer Maine store I had called 3 times only to discover they had a modem in the store the whole time but even the Store Manager who I talked to didn't know it. They seem to have no idea where there inventory is and they have no focus on customer service even in the CEO's office. I'd stay away from this company those are very serious problems.

Have been a US Cellular customer since I was 18 until 1/29/2017. Our cell phones were shut off January 28, 2017 for non payment, I called to make a payment and find out why the bill was so much. After speaking to the woman she advised me to go with another company. A US Cellular agent was telling me that the company was doing me wrong and to look else where, so that's what I told her I was going to do. I paid $220.00 of a $417.67 bill so they would turn them back on and the next day 1/29/2017 went and switched over to AT&T ending my services with US Cellular. I still got a bill for January through February and February through March but didn't have any service nor phones. Tell me how that makes sense? Then today I get a letter from them saying they are canceling my services as of 3/4/2017 and my balance is $705.90. Please tell me how 1) my billing cycle ends on the 27th switched the 29th so in February we only used two days of services and than AT&T imported our numbers from US Cellular and took their phones how I can owe a little over 700.

00 when no services were used? Also they were told on 1/29/2017 that we no longer wanted services with them to send us a final bill that we were done.

They have been ripping me off for 6 years now, I went and printed every bill from them and every month my bill was suppose to be $180.00 and it was always always over $350.00 I would have to call every month and talk to someone for over an hour to have them fix my bill. Two months of cell phones were was my mortgage cost. Not to mention one of my contracts ended and I got rid of the line and than three months later an agent at the store restarted the services and got stuck in a contract for 2 years without my knowledge. I tried to fight that, even had the proof it was ended and than some how started back up, they would do nothing for me at all. I spent more time on the phone with US Cellular than I should ever had to. Got my first bill from AT&T and was $130.00 for the same amount of lines and more data than US Cellular. Please watch your bills with US Cellular they will rip you off every month and won't help you or fix it. They are just like scam artist.

My sister was contacted by this law firm and the assistant to a lawyer said that I owed US Cellular $700 but with the interest that has occured since the bill in early 2000', s I'm assuming. However they could not provide me with any information as far as was this a bill I had or someone else opened in my name. I went on to as them to verify my social security number and that could not provide this and anyone who ever has had any form of contract phone nows you need a social security number to start the account. I played along and gave them a old netspend debit card that I no longer use and they faithful try to deduct money on the 20th of each month for almost six months now, im trying to see if this is a real situation that I should tae care of or a scam to get me to pay for something that isn't mine If anyone has any information regarding this please let me know what your experinece was or is now after dealing with these characters.

I had a 2 yr contract with US Cellular, when I was about 18 months or so into the contract US Cellular rep contacted me via phone and offered to upgrade my phone. We tale it over and I agreed ed to receive an upgraded phone. Not once was it ever mentioned that receiving an upgrade ment I was agreeing to a new 2 yr contract. Seeing as how I was NEVER informed that my getting an upgrade ment a new contract,I don't feel that I have to honor said contract,I informed us cell that I would not honor a contract I did not agree to and they could terminate the service. Now I've got this termination fee on my credit report. I've reached out to a few law firms but none are willing to go up against us cell, which I find heartbreaking because it's such an easy win.Im sure I'm not the only one they have pulled this on and any firm worth a hill of beans could turn this into a class action. I'm wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of a law firm that wouldn't be scared to go against US Cell. Or if anyone would happen to know the name of the law firm that won a class Acton against T Mobile.

Bought new Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, the phone worked great for 5 months until the battery fried. According to credible online reports this phone is notorious for overheating batteries. U.S. Cellular tried to tell me that I overcharged the phone which is not possible, have only ever used original manufacturer's chargers. U.S. Cellular would not replace battery under warranty. Tried to charge me $30 for a replacement battery. Upon closer inspection of the overheated battery, it is not original equipment, but rather a cheap chinese knockoff.

Not only was I sold a refurbised phone as new, they lied to me about overcharging their pos chinese battery and tried to charge me $30 for another battey which retails for less that $6 (with free shipping) on eBay. Can also get an oem battery for $12 which I have since ordered.

I would love to switch to another service provider, but U.S. Cellular is the only provider that has decent coverage in my area. Going to ditch them as soon as I move back to civilization.
