TURNKEY AUTO GROUP COMPANY SOLD ME A EXTENDED WARRANTY FOR MY VEHICLE THAT IS NON EXISTING

  • Dec 3, 2016

We purchased an extended warranty as. We traded the covered vehicle 10 months ago and called Turnkey Auto , and wrote a letter. We were told we would receive a prorated refund. Each time we call about it we get another absurd excuse. First it was we mailed a check but after checking we see it was never cashed so we will send out another check. Then it was the person who signs the checks is on vacation. Next was your check is in accounting waiting to be signed, if you don't have it by Nov. 18 call back. Now it is we don't owe you a refund. Totally infuriated!

I was sold an extended warranty for my Ford F350 Dully truck. I was very upfront that I use the truck for work and personal. I provided my VIIN number and was quoted a policy for $6180.00. I have paid $4200 of that amount.

I never received the warranty documentation. About 4 months later, my truck needed services. My service agent at the dealership (where I bought and always take the truck for service) scheduled the appropriate review of the services needed. I was told that my truck is not covered because:

#1 it has a fifth-wheel hitch and ability to haul gooseneck trailors - this is available information and they should not have sold the policy to me

#2 is used for commercial use - I told the agent that I use my truck for work and personal. I was unaware and was never told this was an issue

I was told over the phone from Kristina and Charlotte that they will no longer warranty my truck and they will not refund my money. They also said I signed the contract, which I did not, and I was provided with the contract via certified letter, which i never recieved and they will not provide.

Also note that they list themselves as several different things including: Royal Adminstration Services, Omnisure (who you pay the bills to), Royal-Shield Am Trust, Turnkey Auto Group.

This is a complete scam. I should have done the research before. Please make everyone aware that this is a real issue and am looking to file a lawsuit against them.

I agree with the last post it did happen and the next thing you know before they can get caught as a ponzi they become corporate and do it the "legal"way. They gave out I9 when we first started then now we have w2 and everything is corporate. The VP of the company came in to reassure ppl about they jobs. They gave out back paychecks to keep ppl quiet but it was money that was owed. We couldn't get our money on time or back pay from months prior but before ppl started calling lawyers they got everyone together to keep from getting a lawsuit. They use scare tactics to make ppl believe they warranty is expired but they not. Say whatever you have to get they credit card info. Do whatever necessary basically lie to them and when ppl cancel once they find out they are full of s*** its hard to get the money back. Please stay away

Our company started working with Turnkey Auto Group as an affiliate. They provide a free open-source dialer and fill it with garbage, out of date, beatup data that we had to hire dozens of people to screen through. Dispite following their business model to the letter, we still hemmorraged money each week waiting for our commissions to trickle in.

We had no contact with our clients and were unable to prevent the 45% cancellation rate, undoubtedly due to the horrible customer service provided by TAG. They then CHRAGED us for clients that cancelled, which was no where in their contract. We decided to do some checking on the key people at "TAG" and found that they've built their foundation with swindlers that have a history of tricking people out of money. We decided to distance ourselves from TAG immediately. They said they'd keep our future commissions, but we rather lose money than risk going down with them, as we feel its inevitable.

We'd like to warn both consumers and other companies that TAG contacts to be weary of their very smooth and convincing pitch. If it seems too good to be true, just do a few Google searches and you'll find it's a scam. A major redflag was a comment their Vice President, Anthony Pulieri, made in a sales meeting to our floor when describing how to find a "buyer"... "don't bother with the young guy that's making $250k and driving a porsche in long island... he's too savvy, he isn't a buyer... but when I get a 72 yearold woman in oklahama who's recently widowed, my D*** gets hard...

she's got some money from her husbands life insurance, she's got no body to talk to, nobody to tell her not to do it.. and now i can play on her fears... ask her who's going to fix the car if something goes wrong... paint her a hypothetical nightmare, and make yourself her knight in shining armour. then the only thing to worry about is getting her [credit] card!" I won't go into detail about the spotty history of each member of their team, but you should look up their leader, Anthony Pulieri, and his interesting past and why he's nolonger in commodities.

Companies like this are the most dangerous because they have a team of very strong and convincing salesmen spinning their web of lies for anyone unfortunate enough to listen. They strong us along for months before we were prompted to do some digging after all the redflags and inconsistencies.

You don't have to take my word for it, I encourage you to come to your own conclusions. But a company that lies about their compensation average, hides fees, makes up rules not disclosed in writing, has almost half of their clients drop out, loses affiliates left and right, and considers an lonely elderly widow a prime target to prey upon is a company I prefer to avoid at all costs.
