Beware! ~ SCAM NETWORK. STEALS Royalties, locks account after certain earnings / revenue.
Stealing legitimate artists earnings from Spotify, Apple iTunes, and YouTube Music
After 12 years finally some of my copyrights grew to gain popularity so much to earn royalties, a growing amount that was to be relied on. as well as I did get more accepted, signed documentation running and streaming for TUNECORE to steal all of our money.. We will do everything we can do to eliminate this scam network.
This company has stolen $400 and something dollars from me as royalty payments from spotify when I contact them on the regards of one of my songs getting over 100,000 plays in a month I was told I could not get paid a royalty payment because my plays were not royalty bearing plays in translation a track that plays 60 seconds or higher when all my plays on a particular song were real plays through blog posts around social media.
I'm sure out of 100, 000 plays someone he or she have streamed my song 60 seconds or greater. I want my money that is due to me. Another issue I have with this company is I took my music down from all stores on the behalf of Tunecore being my publisher in distributor but they are still trying to collect money from me on the behalf of one of the stores I used which was YouTube.
The way I know this is because their content id is still on my music on my personal youtube account not the YouTube artist account they created this account no longer exists because I ask that it be taken down in when I go to my Tunecore account it is still up in my personal youtube is still being monetized to collect money I guess to stuff in their bank account.
When I try to turn this feature off on my account I can't because they have the feature locked. Last I would like to add that I withdraw my money from their account $40 I have no seen a dime in my bank account.
I had an account with tunecore. i submitted 3 songs for them to distribute. Them they changer they security and my signin password was no good any more. I tried to get a new one eight times with no luck. I ask them how can I get one and they said get a new account.
So that's what I did. When I went to look at my songs, they were not there. When I asked them why they said the songs will not be transfered to my new account. They said I had to give them the ok from an email address I hadn't had in a year. When I told them that email was closed and this one, they sent 5 emails to was the new one. They closed the case. Now I'm out any royalities I would get when the songs sell. Then they took $9.99 and $19.99 from my paypal account, and I hadn't done any business with them in over 1 year..
My songs are copyrighted and they are not to collect a thing from them. Tthey infringed on my copyrights. They stoled my songs and there is nothing I can do about it. I was lied to and stole from and there is nothing I can do about it. Not once did they say that my songs were nontransable.
They are refusing to close my account on the premise that I have transactions on file. I have not used their distribution services in four years. I have a three cent balance on my account that I don't care about. I just want my account closed. I have no intention of using them again.
my name is McArthor Johnson and im am the artist T Mack also known as Tiny Mack. Now i have a mixtape out called T Mack welcome home mixtape vol.1 and it has been out since dec 10,2015. Tunecore job was to get my music advertised and sold on other major sites as well as theirs. Now my music is on almost every site dealing with music but im not receiving any funds from those sites. im reporting tunecore for fraud. this was not apart of the deal that i signed up for. i just have $16.50 in my tunecore account which i have never touched because the first time that it was money deposited into my tunecore account it was 0.03 cents and if my mixtape is $8.99 in the U.S. and 0.99 cents a song with 19 tracks on it and im having people buy it from different sites like pandora radio iheart radio youtube then its impossible to make 0.03 cents. i never agreed to sale anything for 0.03 cents. Thank you for your time and i will be following up on this with my lawyer. McArthor Johnson
Tunecore, after sending my money more or less on time for 8 years, all of a sudden delay sending artists payments. The excuse is someone has a copyright issue but I make all my own music so this doesn't appply to me. Stay away from tunecore, run, don't walk, etc. Beware.
I started using Tunecore in 11/01/2016, at 1st things started off great like a new relationship. Then we it came time for payments things started to get problematic. Tunecore made promises to make payments every Friday, and claimed all other digital stores woul be avaliable after 3 months. Well after 5 months I still have not seen one report from all other digital stores. I inquired about the payments and they gave me two payments for 8 dollars and then one for 10 dollars. Now when I advised them my daily trend report stated I had should have recieved payments for at least 50 to 60 dollars not much but this was only from 2 digtial stroes. So if you take the daily trend and times that by 25 turns out to be around 1,250 after spending around 500 dollars that should ahve given me a profit of 750 dollars. When I asked them about this they said be paeitent. At one point their site went down which I understand because it happens but when the site return my daily trends were gone and records of what I should be getting paid were gone.
I advise to shop around , tyr CDbaby. they have better programs.
In January 2015 I asked TuneCore to not renew any of my songs. They agreed to this. In July 2015 I discovered I had a balance of eight cents in my account. I asked why. TuneCore stated that my songs were being renewed and that this was how they earned their revenue. I was told I had ten days to request a refund. All of this is contained in emails sent to me by TuneCore. I contacted BBB. Today (7-30-15) TuneCore called and said that if I wanted to remain in good standings with them I had to give them another opportunity to explain how the two sales I had in the past two years only earned me eight cents. Again TuneCore sent me an email. I was told that the two TuneCore representatives who promised me a refund were wrong. I asked was he saying my 2000 fans on Jango never purchased any of my songs. Whether my sister purchase of my album funds were also going to the stores they send materials to. TuneCore is cheating, Lieing and threatening people.
