I intitally signed up for a job opportunity to make thousands monthly. The interview went well and I paid the $400 to start. What I was not aware of was that you get paid every two weeks. You make money according to what you sell. So actually it would take you about a month to get your first check and you would need to make enough money to pay for that first draft. I was told that agents sign up about 10 to 20 people a day and that it was very easy to sign people up.
I was told that training was about 2 hours and a half which is untrue. All the videos and training take about 2 days if you are taking your time. Maybe even longer. I was anxious to get started so I went through the training fast. After going through the 12 emails I still did not quiet understand and ask for additional training which I was told just say the script which was to sign people up for a audit. The audit takes 45 to 60 days So how can I make money to even pay for the first draft.
This is when I realized that someone with no additonal income could not be successful at this if they were depending on immediate income. I then wrote him and explain to him that I could not afford to be on the platform and I never used any of the leads. I was sent a form to terminate my contract.
Today I receive a email that they have attempted to collect a payment for $400. I emailed Mr. Matt asking could he refund me partial of my money due to the fact that I never used the platform or his leads. Nothing was ever used other than the 12 emails that was supposed to be for training. I feel like I was not told the whole truth and was mislead as I did not have the money to just pay a upfront fee and not be able to make the money to continue to pay. He stated that he had people on the platform making 100k a month which on the saturday call there was only 7 people on the call of which 2 people work for the company.
I am writing because we all need money and to just throw $400 out of the window and not even make anything and still attempt to charge my account after I gave a 18 day notice. I did not have a chance to give a 30 day notice as I had just signed up. There was no trial period or anything.
I wrote to Mr. Matt and asked for a refund and he never replied. What company do you know that have reps making 100k a month but do not have time to answer emails. We are in a pandemic and we all need to make money so sometimes we fall prey to being able to make alot of money. I just want to be refunded the $400 that I paid. Why because the picture was painted that I could make a great income. I was not aware that I would get paid every two weeks until after the fact. Bottom line if you are reading this beware. The ad was listed on craigslist. If you are not financially stable this is not for you. I dont know if you can make money because I was never able to get on the platform because there was just no way to make enough money to pay bills and be able to pay the monthly fee of $400.
Resolution for me would be to refund me my $400 and void my contract. I pray that this helps the next person as I was not able to get any resolution.
