David Tedesco is the Managing Partner of True North Companies and 668 North, LLC. He is an investment banker who controls Realty Executives, Passport Health, Pump It Up (Fun Brands), and more. His business model is to entice investors from the Silicon Valley and Sun Valley, Idaho to invest cash with him so that he can purchase small companies with positive cash-flow but whom are underperforming. He never invests in a company unless he can get complete controlling interest in the company.
In the middle of last year, Tedesco bought 97 of the 102 units at the beautiful Phoenix Chinese Cultural Center--44th Street and the 202 Freeway. Almost immediately, and without contacting the other owner of the property, Szechwan Palace Restaraunt, Tedesco embarked on a plan to destroy the iconic Chinese Cultural Center and Prayer Garden. He sued anyone who disagreed with him, and aggressively attacked anyone who tried to Save the Phoenix Chinese Cultural Center. The controversy has grown to epic proportions in the past 8 months.
