Ordered sample, to pay shipping only, total for sample, $96 did not pay for shipping, paid for total amount for order!!! Then saw that they do this all the time. Another complaint on your site, exactly what they did to me! Extremely upset. My only income is SS!
I paid shipping for a trial size luminary product. The web site referenced several positive customer experiences. The product indicated joanna gaines owned the company. So i thought, okay let's give it a try. Joanna gaines, i know her from hgtv. Now i find that, even though i only agreed to the trial, the company continued to ship products and billed my credit card nearly $100 a month. No invoice and no name of the shipper. I called my credit card company and they gave me the biller phone number 800-995-6557. I spoke politely with three people, whom offered me 50%, 75%, and even 85% reimbusement. I asked to speak with them regarding the numerous scam reviews. They gave me an rn number and address in colorado to return the product. They sent me four emails crediting approximately $200, and canceled a subscription i never agreed to. This matter should be referred to the states attorney general
Ordered free samples of Luminary face and eye cream. Only shipping charges of $4.95 was to be charged. Item arrived in a box with no labels or any paperwork identifying shipper. Several weeks later my credit card was billed an additional $93.87. Do not order any fee samples of this product, it is a scam.
Maybe I am crazy, but I thought that these samples(shipping charges only)were the new products created by Joanna Gaines. They arrived promptly about 2 weeks ago and while looking at my checking account on line, found that I had been charged shipping twice(even thugh the two products came in the same box)and a third time for $1.95.
Now I see that I have been charged $93.79 on September 14th for a product I did not request. I called 1-800995-7145 and spoke with a young lady I could hardly understand. Told her I did not order, had been charged 3 times for sample shipping and that I did not want the product and please cancel. She tried to offer it for $64, told her no and to refund my checking.
She said after the trial offer of 30 days you are sent the product and charged $93.79. Informed her that I had not had the samples for 30 days and again please cancel the order. I was assured that it would be taken care of and order cancelled. I am supposed to receive an email so we will see what happens. If Joanna Gaines is behind this product, she should be aware that customers are being ripped off!!! Won't take any more "free" samples again because it ALWAYS turns out badly.
