Troy Davis and salesman Mitch are jokes. Once they get your money then they don't answer phone or do as they promise. My deal all started in December of 2018. I had been calling and emailing troydavisinc trying to purchase a couple of trucks they had with no response then finally called the first of April and started talking to Mitch the head salesman for troy davis. We started talking about purchasing a 2007 peterbilt so told mitch what had been happening and was told he would give me a real good deal that was a bunch of bull. So on April 4 was told that i needed to send $11600 to them that way the deal was done so did. April 8 valled to get truck delivered half way was give the run around . Told mitch don't worry about it i would be on my way so drove to texas arrived april 9 2019 truck wasn't ready so set there all day to get truck ready. So around 7 p.m. finally finished with everything told mitch i needed the title asap was told by mitch troy is on it would have title in a couple days so leave with truck on the way home ac compressor blowed apart called mitch he said tell him what it needed to fix it. Get that fixed then the valves to release trailor brakes where bad so fixed them. So on April 12 called asking where title is was told troy is on it . April 15 called mitch again was told troy was on it. April 17 called mitch again he tells me to send 4 pics of truck and my local dmv info that way he could send the title and info over to them so i did. Mitch didn't do it so on April 18 texted mitch with no reply so i called troydavisinc was sent to some guy that i had never talked to he tells me that troy has 20 days before they have to send title and if i don't like it he would hold it. So finally Troy himself calls me tells me he has 20 days to send my title and i tell him that mitch said i would have title in a coupl days when i purchased truck and this wasn't a way to do business he tells me he doesn't care if i buy another truck from him or not so now it's April 19 2019 still no title truck is sitting in Ohio waiting to go to work and isn't possible because troy davis and mitch are jokes. They are your best friends until after u have gave them your money then they totally act like u don't matter. SO BUYERS BEWARE this business is a total joke and i will never buy another truck from them nor would i recommend anyone else to unless u want the same as a few more of us have had happen with this so called company

Finally got a call back from mitch so started working out a deal on a 07 peterbilt . Told mitch what had been happening he said sorry and he would give me a good deal on truck so we got started on the deal. That was around April 2 2019. Everything going good so far mitch contacted me saying he needed me to send the down payment for truck so sent $11600 to troy davis inc. All still good and get financed so now it's April 5 . Try to get them to meet me with truck start getting the run around now so call on the 8th tell mitch don't worry about it I'll be on my way drive 16 hours there now it's the 9th wait all day for truck to get ready to take home .I tell mitch i need title asap to put truck to work he tells me don't worry Troy is on it that was a lie.So start on the way home in truck ac blows apart so get that fixed then the trailer brake valves are bad get those fixed now we are at april 17th still no title so i get a hold of mitch tells me send pics and the number to local dmv and he would send title another lie .So today is April 18th so call troy davis inc. I'm told by so guy named john oh we will send out the title tomorrow and if i don't like it that he can legally hold title for 20 days this place is a total joke. So texted mitch he says he will get troy to call me so troy finally calls me and we get into it and his response to all this is i don't care if you don't ever buy a truck from me again so buyers beware troydavisinc are a total joke and i would never tell anyone or recommend anyone to buy a damn thing from them. There nice as can be till they get your money then they could care less. So if anyone is looking to buy a truck steer as far away from troydavisinc as possible.
We purchased 6 ProStars from Troy Davis Inc. We only received 5 of the 6 trucks and have no idea why we were never given the 6th truck. We have tried so many times to get a hold of Troy Davis to find out status of 6th truck. We paid $42,500 per truck in full for the invoice of 6 trucks. After so many attempts and no clear answer, we asked for a refund. Troy Davis Inc has only refunded $10,000 of $42,500 and it has been a year. Every attempt to get our money back has been awful with calling daily and getting ignored. We work hard for our money and he even told us that we shouldn't get the whole refund back because we didn't buy additional trucks from him that we were originally interested in. We would have purchased more if the first transaction went smoothly. Even the delivery process was a nightmare with us having to hire another company to go pick up 2 of the trucks. The price agreed was delivered at our facility at $42,500 a truck. They only delivered 3. We paid to pick up 2 out of our own pocket and then the 6th truck was nowhere to be found. Getting a straight answer or even any type of response was so time consuming and stressful. All I want is our money back that Troy Davis Inc. has had for a little over a year now and will not respond to ANY of my calls or emails. This is ridiculous that a business can do something like this.
Buyer Beware!! This guy "Troy Davis" is the most unprofessional and rude so called business man that I have ever dealt with. He is a Compulsive Liar and will sell you junk! He will have his shade tree mechanic to patch up or disconnect anything on a truck to conceal the problem just to stick you with the problem. Do not expect to get a truck that will pass a DOT inspection if you happen to buy a truck from these guys.
Troy's motto is "If it has good oil pressure and good engine temp, it's a good truck nothing else matters, just take it and run it". He will try to get you to give him a deposit on a truck so if you decide not to make the purchase he will threaten to keep your deposit, tyring to strong arm you to follow through with the purchase. Although, this is not legal and he has no legal leg to stand on, he will try you to see if you're dumb enough to fall for it. His so called "Salesman" Tommy Gonzalez, was taught well by him and is almost as good a liar as him. Save yourself a lot of headaches and STAY AWAY!!!
I have bought 2 trucks from Troy Davis Inc. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Great prices.
I saw this review before i bought a truck from these guys and my purchase was very the opposite tommy was great and very polite did not meet troy but the dealership completed everything they said they would and even delivered the truck i will be back if i need another truck .Henry lopez
