Long story short we purchased the PowerXL Air Fryer Grill (a Tristar Product). From day one my son said there was something wrong with it. I let it go. My son returned to college, I used the air fryer and sure enough, there was something wrong with it. It did not air fry simple, thin, chicken strips. The next day I contacted support via the phone. She was super friendly and told me exactly what steps I needed to take in order to get a return shipping label sent to me.

I followed her instructions and waited on a return email from support. A week went by with no reply. I send the same email and went on their FB and sent a message. This time I get a reply indicating I HAVE TO PAY FOR RETURN SHIPPING! What? It's your product and it's under warranty. Why would I pay to have it shipped back? The product is faulty! I found the email of the CEO and emailed him. I am waiting on a reply.

I hope he stands behind his company and does the right thing. I plan on filing a BBB complaint along with the NYS Attorney General. It's not that the air fryer was a lot of money it's the fact it is defective and under warranty. They know most people will not pay to return it so that is why they do this. Just a really crappy way to do business.

Ordered Emeril 360 xl family oven, they sent it to wrong address, refuse to resend or refund. worst company ever. contacted BBB they replied and lied. send product or refund.. no more payments to you. you recieved 82.00 and that is all you will get until you send my product. you had mcarthr lane on address and it went somewhere else. you lied , you did not send it to me and i will report you for fraud to my credit card.

Like many others, I mailed a check on 1/19/2003 for two pasta pots, that was advertised in our Sunday paper. Tristar Products cashed the check in Feb. 2003.

It is now March 26, 2003, still no pasta pots received and I doubt we will ever see them.

I called and reported that new inner pot was damaged. Was insulted and told that I speak incorrectly.

After much back and forth I was told they couldn't do anything about it.

When i call to purchase the Powerpressurecooker. The offer was 100.00 grocery coupon, free frying pan and 3 payment of 33.33. I purchased 4 6qt powerpressure cooker, than i was told since i purchased 4 pressure cooker i was only allow one 100.00 grocery coupon.

The only thing i was told about the 100.00 grocery coupon was to go into the website and redeem the coupon. no mention that i have to print out each one

If I have brough 4 pressure cooker separate i would have received 100.00 grocery coupon for each one.

In my search about more on the coupon i notice the same website seller the Powerpressurecooker cheaper than when i purchased 3payment of 24.99. So I call and ask for a credit and which they gave me. But went i ask about the 100.00 grocery coupon and explain i don't have a printer i was told to go to the library to redeem them. I ask about the offer with the cheaper price that offer a 50.00 walmart gift card? Can i have that, i was transfer to this # that i have to pay to get the 50.00 walmart gift card.

I call again and ask for the 50.00 walmart gift card and got the run around to redeem the coupon instead. i ask to send me return label so i could send it back. i was told i have to pay for all 4 postage and handling to return it back. So the 60 day guarantee means the company get pay either way. The 100.00 grocery coupon and the 50.00 walmart gift card is a scam to people that doesn't have printer or don't want to pay to get the 50.00 walmart gift card. I have no choice but to keep the powerpressurecooker because it will cost me more to send it back

This is the only link i can find of the exact item with all the contents i purchsed. walmart.com/ip/Kiyoseki-Mineral-Ceramic-3-in-1-Styler-Flat-iIron/15078283 I made this purchase so long ago now that i forgot even what year it was! I have been dealing with this company for over siz years! This was a TV infomercial for a Flat Iron forhair. It came with a heat resistant bag, 3 hair clips, mister conditioner & sleek & shine spray. I got "Tricked" into a longer cord for "FREE". Well by accepting this longer cord, i automaticaly agreed to pay for this all at once instead of breaking it down into payments. I found this out the hard way! After i received it all was ok.

On the 3rd use in the first week of receiving it, it would no longer heat. The digital screen would just blink. Nothing else. I called the company. "No problem!, send us the item back and we will replace it with a new one. Keep the hair mist conditioner & shine, send the rest back". So i paid for shipping and sent it back. Two weeks later i had not heard anything. I called the company & they claimed the did get my iron back and the new one to be shipped out was being procesed still. So another Two weeks with no flat iron, i call again. Now they said it has been shipped and it is on it's way. Next week i still had not receivedit so i call for the 3rd time. All of a sudden things go really bad. The lady said that they never received the broken one i shipped in. At this point i had no information on my tracking because i was already told they got it the one i sent in and my new one waas on it's way out.

Over the next 2 months i called almost every 4-5 day's trying to get somewhere. Anywhere and i got a different story almost every call. Some of the calls i was flat hung up on when i told them this is out of hand. It has been almost 6 years and i give. It has been so long that i have lost all my reference numbers i had been given every single call, because i had moved then moved again when we purchased our home. I did buy this on a type of pre-paid credit card that child support payments go on. So there IS a record of the purchase through my Visa card used from Bank Of America. My Info at time of purchase was as follows.

Melinda Reynolds, Washington 98626. They should have a record of this because this was the address that was on the credit card used. That they sent the flat iron to and that was listed as sender from when i returned the flat iron to them. This was over $150 for the flat iron & accessories. I am sure by now that the exact same thing is probably $20! My luck. I can not find this anywhere to buy now. I do see neggative reviews about it breaking down but i think it possibly is no longer being made. I see where it used to be sold at Walmart and Amazon and again, no longer available.

I understand i am out all that money. I do not expect this company to make good on any of this after all this time but i am hoping that others are warned about Trustar and what they sell through TV and how poorly the treat their customers. This is just wrong. Thank you.

I made an online purchase of the Perfecter Fusion Styler. They advertise a 30 day guarantee, the option to upgrad the product, which I did which would result in monthly payment deductions from my debit card. The advertised amount to be debited from my card was $4.99.

I checked my account this morning to find that they made 2 debits, both of them were for $5.99. I went to the website and found an email address. I filled that out requesting that they correct the error immediatly. The email came back as a failure. That told me that was a fake address. There's a customer care phone number. I did a Google search and it directs you to a lot of links on showing only their product information on another web page. Being very suspect of that, I chose not to call them from my phone. I don't want my number tied to whatever systems they're using.

My bank informed me that they can't stop the reacurring charges because it doesn't show as that type on my account. It only shows as a POS (point of sale) and banks can't stop those. They can only stop reacurring charges, which I didn't know.

My bank said I should cancel my card and open a second checking account to be only used for my bills and personal use. The other account should have limited funds in it to be only used for internet purchases. That way the majority of my money will be protected from scams like this.

I haven't received the product yet and I won't return it because I can't contact them, it's very sketchy about their email address being fake and I phone number tied only to their product on another web page. They already ripped me off of $11.98!

We purchased the Healthmaster Elite and used it twice for light duty, it then sat undisturbed on the counter for some time, the 3rd time we tried to use it, it won't even get power.

I know now, after reading all the complaints here: https://www.consumeraffairs.com/homeowners/healthmaster_blender.html and other boards, that this is a widely known problem for the Healthmaster, that not only does Tristar not honor their product warranty, but they are now distancing themselves from the product, almost as if they never helped to sell it, of note, the original site, http://myhealthmaster.com/?reqp=1&reqr=nzcdYaEvLaE5pv5jLab= is merely parked for free at GoDaddy.com

I have written Tristar corporate offices, and indicated that without abuse or misuse of the product, the customer should never be charged in such cases. If this were one of Tristars cheaper products, I'd be alot less angry, but as it wasn't, I'm officially complaining.

Tristars CEOs should not expect their customers to take any less in satisfaction than they themselves should, were they the customer, instead of us. Furthermore, I think there should be some sort of legal action a group of people can take, that would stop this sort of sale in it's tracks or at least force the company to make good. Buyer beware!

If I could have resolution that I felt was fair to our family, it would be our money back, in full, or a new Healthmaster Elite, it's that simple.
