Triple C HomeCare LLC Reviews
IF you have a loved one who needs care: BEWARE! Know the difference between "skilled" and "non-skilled" workers. Triple C is very expensive and provides terrible service! Incompetent care for hospice patients, as workers are not medically trained! What you get: untrained and uncaring workers who are mostly on the phone, eating, or sleeping, forcing you to do their work. One worker invited his girlfriend to our home one night without asking! Workers do not follow basic health requirements: washing hands after using the restroom, changing clothes and linens, which is unsanitary and downright disgusting. The owner promises to get excellent "skilled" people, which is misleading, in terms of state standards. He uses the term "skilled" but he uses this word subjectively. Their skill is not based on education, standards or testing. The owner keeps sending new people because the ones he provided needed to be supervised and/or trained 24/7. It was beyond exhausting. The owner's lack of competent staffing forces him to overwork his employees. He then blames the customer for work shifts that are obviously too long, although scheduling is his job. I ended up having to train, supervise and clean up after some very messy workers, and found chips and broken "good" dishes which they did not ask to use, and they damaged some art and furniture as well. One male worker quit during his shift and was waiting to be picked up. He was told to wait in the kitchen, but brazenly walked into the closed bathroom where my naked female friend was bathing my mom with the help of a nurse and myself. He ogled her and then exclaimed, "WooHoo!" until the nurse closed the door. It upset everybody vey much. Triple C was employed for a few weeks and proved without a doubt that they are totally incompetent at elder care, when at shift change two young workers lost my list of emergency numbers, and decided to quit. They totally abandoned their very sick client. They refused care until I found relief and left, which a nurse could not do, but again, these were NOT "skilled" workers according to the Health Department. Yes, they walked out on a dying person without a care! After contacting the State of California I learned they are not registered as a "skilled" caregiver company, so if you are needing good elder care and/or hospice care you should do research. Look for registered "skilled" caregivers, not just overpaid, under-qualified chair fillers who will make you pay, because as the owner says presumptively, "You can afford it." Wrong. When it comes to loved ones you can't afford to pick the wrong company, because when your precious beloved is terminally ill, every moment counts. Their comfort and and care is first priority, until the last moments of their lives. I will never put care in the hands of Triple C again.
