Just recently had the misfortune of dealing with this shady business and it cost me. Ad for car said "Doesn't have any issues at all." When the guy was showing me the car he early on said he had ordered the navigation screen as the existing one was bad which would take another two days to fix he says, but it doesn’t have any issues at all said the ad!
This was a problem as I expected to leave with the car that day; drove about two hours to get there. I told the guy that I was going to take it to a dealership to have them do a buyer inspection. The guy wanted me to take to dealer first before negotiating a price, but he said it doesn't have any issues at all so I say I would like to agree on a price before I spend money on the inspection and we agreed on a price for the "Doesn't have any issues at all." car.
Car also had four burned out bulbs and needed brakes all the way around the car, but it doesn't have any issues at all! The guy said he would fix the tag light bulb but not the other three, one because he just didn't know how to fix it he says. By the way the two fog lights they brag about in the ad are the ones noted by the dealer as burned out; we couldn't get them to come on while on the lot.
This a dishonest company to advertise the car as having no issues when it very clearly does. I would rather take a $150.00 loss, which I did, than buy a broken car and award a dishonest dealer with a purchase. These guys won't be around long behaving like this. I bought an 2007 Toyota Prius from them my second day have the car lights start appear on my dashboard. It was first the check engine light then I found out it needs a sensor by take it to advance auto.
Secondly shortly after the ABS, VCT and other break lights start popping up on the car. Then the break accumulator went out cause the car to jerk and felt like someone was hit you from behind. All this happen in matter of two months.
I call the owner and he first stated it was his cousin car not his own the lot so he is not responsible but then he change his mind and said it was the dealership car. He knew something was wrong with the car but he said he can't fix it because the car was sold as is.
I argue to him that I have a daughter that rides int he car with and that he should make it right all I ask him to do is trade the car out with a different car he said he can't do that. Total after invested around 700.00 for new breaks and tires and would have to invested another $2500.00 for a break accumulator I decided to just take my losses and sale it but the difference between me and him the person that got it from me I told them upfront what was wrong with the car he didn't.
They are dirty nasty dealership and I would never recommend anyone to go to them. They set in you face with a smile on there know all the time they are sale you broke down junk cars and lie to you about inspections of the vehicle if the one I had was inspected believe me it wouldn't have passed inspection. I took a lost of 3000.00 and sold it. Please if you looking for a Prius don't go here he listed most of his cars on craigslist too under Triple A's Motors. Stay Away From This Place Like A Plaugue.
