I received an email from Todd Phillips, of Todd Phillips Productions, informing me that Mr. Jim Miller, agent for Trident Medial Partners recommended my book very highly for a book to movie project. This project was for creating a movie/series.
For three days, all went well until he started asking for a downpayment of $3,000. Normal prodedures are for agents to work on a percentage basis and do not require any cash from the author. When this cash was requested, I knew it was a scam and I discontinued everything and didn't pay anythng.
