My granddaughter went to Tricoci for three months before dropping the program. Tricoci will not release her transcripts to her new university so she can get her finanical aid, because they say she still owes them around $1600 for the "kit". She was charged $7,000, taken from federal grants and student loans. No money was ever dispursed to her for living/commute expenses. She left the majority of her kit at Tricoci, but has not been given any credit. Tricoci refuses to release confirmation of dates of attendance, needed by her current university and if this issue is not resolved will force her to have to withdraw from the Univeristy of Wisconsin where she has a scholarship. Please note the following complaints: 1) students sent home - wrong color of shoes, etc.; 2) lost records of her hair cuts/treatments required for credit; 3) confusing instructions from teachers with degredating remarks; 4) stress on the salon floor bad enough to give her panic attacks (hands would visibly shake); 5) chastized by teachers for not being agressive enough in selling products (retail signoffs required to pass); and 6) students were REQUIRED to sell product and bring in their own family and friends as paid customers (no reducted rate here) in order to get the "credits" needed to complete the program.
