If you happen to be on autobill with this company, I highly suggest not just canceling rebill but to also cancel the credit card associated with that account. I have myself verifi3d that despite canceling rebilling services that if you dont cancel the credit card as well you most likely will stll be charged. Because of what is happening iin trend micro corporation I was forced to buy and replace licenses I sold to my customers and have to use small claims to recoup my losses.

There are a lot of issues with trendmicro lately. Trend has not bothered 5o rix them because they kniw a lot of their funding is from rebills and they wont be crediting any of them back unless your bank does a charg3bqck. My licenses are paid out as far qs 5 years. Which means I have to use smallclaims court to re cover what I paid then and to recover funds I had to pay out of pocket to replace my customer's antivirus programs.

Trendmicro isnt bothering to fix their issues because they are working with funds they already collected over a year ago so they are stuck with a budget they cant get out of.

If you happen to have a license with them I highly suggest finding another more reliable antivirus before its too late. Many people are paying trend for services they dont even need. Most recently trend forced an update to 11.0 and they did it in a way that if you refuse the program stops running. After the update many windows 10 systems would bluescreen and trend would try charging fees to supposedly fix the problems and many find out to late that the issue is actually a bad release. Until Trend fixes the code their 11.0 will most likely bluescreen.

Many who have been to their support site these past 3 months will have noticed that the website has had issues where both chat and email services are bugged making it harder to talk to a living person. As it turned out the reasons the support suctions are down are not due to bugs that trend claims happened when they updated their website but are because they actually turned those sections off. You can easily see this if you view the source code. Why did they do this? To cut down on the overwhelming e-mails and pages they were getting due to their forced buggy update.

If that doesn't ring any alarm bells this should. Trend has sold many of their resale licenses to merchants like myself and the market is saturated to the point where its next to impossible to move then. Now, if I am paying $19 for a license and reselling for $40 instead of $59, why aren't people buying? Because we own so many licenses now were not buying anymore from trend who needs these sales to make more virus definitions.

So what did trend do? They bit the very hands that feed them by selling even cheaper licenses off shore so to speak at $3 each. Why buy from merchants even at $25 if anyone can get even the $120 version for $3.00. Thats like 95% off. Speaking from experience, if a company is selling high priced items at even over 50% they tend to be going bankrupt. Hence why im doing a small claims case against them. Small claims takes about 2 month's average to complete. Civil several years which gives them time to file chapter 11. Im just trying to recoup my losses in case they do file.
