Sat, Jul 23 at 11:16 PM I traveled Spain last June and I booked a Barcelona City tour with Travelocity At the time of booking it was stated that one can get full refund if you cancel 24hours before the tour. The tour was supposed to be on July third.

At the time of booking the site came up with a different date without me knowing it and the date was changed to June 6th. I got a call from Spain and I told them that I am in New York that I am not supposed to travel to Spain till June 19th. The contact person for the tour in Spain sent me an e/mail where he stated that the tour is cancelled but it is up to Travelocity to issue the credit.

I called Travelocity on June 5th : 24 hours before the tour and spoke to a customer representative. This guy through the system knows that I made airline reservations and tour reservations for me and my family. He told me the ticket is non refundable.

I told him I am calling you 24 hours before the tour, I got an e/mail from Spain confirming that the tour is cancelled that I will call the credit card company to cancel the transaction. The crook told me not to call the credit card company that can affect all my previous reservations and I believed him.

He told me that he will contact Spain before I can get the credit I have been calling Travelocity travel team since June 5th about the issue. I called them many times and they keep telling me we are getting in touch with Spain before we can issue the credit.

When I back from the trip the beginning of July I called Travelocity since I never got the credit and I was told that they are sorry that I can not get the money back. Travelocity has no customer service ethics they more into stealing people money. You would think that as a customer, Travelocity will be on my side to help me recuperating $458.

They are more into you losing the money. They hire a bunch of Indians and one knows for sure how good they are with credit card scam, I get many calls from them from India all the times. Their recent e/mail to me stated that: did you ask us to speak to Spain?

I did not have to ask them to call Spain on my behave that is what they were supposed to do as a courtesy to a customer. TRAVELOCITY SITE IS A SCAM, DO NOT BOOK ANYTHING WITH THEM . WATCH YOUR CREDIT CARD

From June 6th to 9th 2019, myself and my 3 friends took a trip to Puerto Vallarta, MX. We booked our flight and accommodations with Travelocity on May 7th 2019. When we arrived to the resort, Villa de Palmar Flamingos Beach Resort and Spa, on June 6th, 2019 and was told we did not book an all-inclusive room, when in fact on our itinerary it says all inclusive.

The resort mentioned we could buy the all-inclusive amenities for $99 per person per night, which would equal $1,188 for 4 people. We could not solve the issue with the hotel because we booked everything with Travelocity. First we were told that we just boked at the wrong hotel because apparently the hotel has 3 different bookings (mind you they are all named different so there no way we booked the wrong hotel)then were told we just book the wrong room package (it does not give any other option but all-inclusive).

So we spent over 6 hours on the phone and spoke to over 15 agents and managers over the course of 2 days even 2 corporate office customer service managers. Every single agent and manger refused to take responsibility that Travelocity had incorrectly advertised on their website and would not rectify the situation even though we not only had evidence on our itinerary saying "all-inclusive", the hotel details literally saying that it is all-inclusive (meals and beverages included) and what it is included as well as screenshots of the website saying that the hotel and rooms are "All-Inclusive" with no other options to choose a non-inclusive room.

The website also does say that this particular resort has all meals included. Also, the resort is listed under all-inclusive hotels on Travelocity's website. We suggested doing a screen share, skype, or webex to show what we see from our computer screen as a customer when trying to book and was refused and told that no one could do that, which is false. IT could've intervened.

We were told by one of the corporate manager that we should've called the resort ourselves before booking also was ignorantly mocked as if we didn't know what all-inclusive means. How does that make sense when we are using your service to book and information should already be accurate?! The toll-free lines are all recorded and we had 1 agents out of 15 actually say “the website doesn’t show whether the rooms re non-inclusive or all-inclusive but the resort does say all-inclusive”. Confirming that we were correct and that a customer would assume that they are receiving an all-inclusive package.

Travelocity then lied and stated that none of those conversations were recorded to save themselves. Since our initial complaint on 6/6/19 to Travelocity, they have added an option under our exact resort, Villa de Palmar Flamingos Beach Resort and Spa, for non all-inclusive, so why not take accountability when it wasn't there when we booked last month? but It still says the resort is all inclusive.

Travelocity is advertising rooms that the hotel clearly says is wrong. Due to the disconnect between the resort and Travelocity, we should be refunded our money. We booked with Travelocity only because this resort was all-inclusive, if we weren’t going to get what was advertised we would’ve booked elsewhere. Travelocity is a scam.

Booked a flight with travelocity and had to cancel. called Michelle Corporate Customer Service Rep and she said that Delta Airlines would not refund my $289.30 but, will credit that amount that will expire within one year, But, Delta will charge me a FEE of $200 to use that credit. That equals $89.30? Scam from both companies. I work hard for my money and I want it back.

Deceptive!!! I've been using Travelocity for many years. It's been my "go to" any time I need to travel but that changes today. I selected an option from "Flex Travel" and when it took me to the next page, the actual price was more than DOUBLE!

The price is the price. I get that. What I don't like is their deceptive practices, not only in this example but also with the multitude of deceptive email "sales" I receive from Travelocity.

There are a LOT of travel choices. I think it's time to change my loyalty and find a new "go to" company!!

Based on online advertisement on 3/18/16, made a reservation over the phone for package deal including 2 rooms at hotel. This was an hour call to finalize this reservation. When in receipt of the trip iineary after the call, it was for 1 room, but charged me the price for 2 rooms $3,871.00 total package price. charged to Visa.

After calling on 3/21/16 to aprise them of the error. They claimed they needed 10 days to review call, but never did anything after 12 days. Tried to charge me another $1,590.00 for another room. I spent a total of 6 hours on hold in a 12 day period. They are keeping $2,149.00. I am forced to make addtional reservations somewhere else now. Today, 4/6/16, I am reporting fraud to Visa and a stop payyment. I have copies of the online ads as well showing the price for 2 rooms. I want my $2,149.00 returned as a result of the error made by the booking agent. The most unethical, torterous experience!! Stay Away!!!

On August 5th 2015, I booked flights for two to Aruba on Feb 5-14th 2016. Travelocity confirmed it at 4:15 p.m.

Discount hotels were offered, I booked Divi Aruba for Feb 5-14th 2016. Hit the payment and confirm button. My

confirmation arrived at 4:20 p.m. They confirmed my hotel for Aug 6-9th, 2015. The next day!...5000 miles away??

Immediately called Travelocity told them I never put in those dates. Was told this was a matter for Manager to

Manager discussion with the Hotel, Divi, Divi Aruba. Was put on hold for a long time. Agent came back to

say they had no answer at the resort. She gave me a phone # to call, it was bogus. (297-586-6066)

I called Travelocity back and got a sympathetic person who said he might be able to change the dates for me. He

would call me back. I checked online for prices, more than double $$ for Feb.

Called Travelocity back again. The agent cancelled my bogus reservation and told me there would be a $350.00

cancellation fee.

He gave me the US contact for Divi Divi Aruba to call about waiving the fee. The Manager's name was Randi,

phone 919-419-3484. She is available 9-5. By now it was midnight on the east coast.

Next day, I called Randi left some messages and finally got her on the line. She said she had already agreed to

waive the cancellation fee. She also told me that she does not have access to anything travelocity arranges until

they pay her following the stay. Well, I was happy. I had every reason to believe that the reservation was cancelled

and fees waived.

I booked a different hotel for Feb 5-14th 2016, on Aug 6th 2015. A week later Travelocity sent me an email, happy

to let me know that they were able to change the dates of my reservation, call them to authorize the change. I called

and guess what? He said my previous reservation had never been cancelled. Oh and guess what else, since I did not

show up on Aug 6th, I was charged a $942.60 cancellation fee.

Travelocity misrepresents transactions and when errors/misrepresentations are brought to its attention, it refuses to do anything about it and simply responds, "Too bad, no changes, refunds, or cancellations".

Using Travelocity's website and search criteria, I booked a hotel that was supposed to provide a hotel shuttle to and from the airport and it didn't. When I received the confirmation and the hotel information, I brought this to Travelocity's Customer Service (that's an oxymoron) representative's attention and she confirmed it with the hotel (that it wouldn't provide the airport shuttle as previously stated) and in spite of Travelocity's own representative confirming this, she refused to put my family in a different hotel and cited it's 'no changes, cancelations, or refunds' policy. When I told her that I would dispute this transaction with my credit card company, she was indignant and said, 'Good, we'll fight you on this'.

This dispute has been going on since before Memorial Day and Travelocity has made this difficult for everyone, including my credit card company. I've pushed this dispute and it's now going to final arbitration because Travelocity is run by total ***holes and doesn't believe in customer satisfaction or service and only pays lip service to the term. In my opinon, this company doesn't deserve to be in business. I have also filed a complaint with FTC.gov and want to warn anyone that will listen to learn from my experience and not do business with this company. There are many reputable travel companies available, Travelocity's just not one of them.

Our children purchased 2 Travelocity E-gift cards as gifts for our 50th anniversary. This was in 2010 and they did not expire until 2018.

We were traveling last month and I wanted to use them to make motel reservations but was unable to do so. The number I was given to call ended up being in the Phillipines. I could barely understand the person on the other end of the phone. I gave them the promo codes from the gift cards, they had me on hold for 1/2 an hour. Came back on the phone, said they could not honor the cards and would transfer me to a supervisor. I held for 1 hour with noone picking up.

This scenario happened not once, but twice before I gave up, whick I believe is exactly what they wanted me to do.

I believe our son used a credit card to make the purchase but due to the length of time since the initial purchase, am not sure he can recover his loss.
