On 2/22/18 I purchased 2 reservations through Travelsavingspassport.com. On 3/6/18 I called the Holiday Inn to confirm my reservation -they had no record of it. I called travel savings passport - who closes at 2pm my time-I left a message-no one called me back. I called again on 3/12/18 left a message - again no call back.
On 3/17/18 I left another message-again no returned phone call. On 3/19/18 I called and spoke with a Christine who told me she would take care of my issue. Later that day she told me the Holiday Inn now has my reservation and she educated me that typically the Hotel does not get my reservation until 7 days prior to my arrival. On 3/20/18 I get a call from Travel Saving Passport telling me I need to change my name. I immediately called Christine and she assured me that my reservation was all set.
On 3/22/18 I called the Holiday Inn to make sure my paid reservation is good. They told me that Gullivers Travel American Express card they provided is no good and I will have to pay for my Hotel stay when I arrive. So apparantly Travel Savings Passport and Gullivers Travel are somehow connected. I paid Travel Savings Passport $100 to join and $599 for my Holiday Inn stay and for another pending reservation of $153.55.
I immediately reached out to Travel Savings Passport and spoke with Melissa. I told her about the bad American Express card and by her reaction this must be something that happens frequently there. I immediately end the call and call in to Christine who had no words to say to me but them will take care of this. About an hour after our call I am not blocked out of my account. I had no alternative but ot reach out to my credit card company and file a chargeback.
