I applied for a position here as a driver and was told by The Supervisor that I would NOT be considered for the job; because I speak English! I've called #Trip2 and #TransportationAmerica to get the matter cleared - to NO avail.
I'm not a lawyer but this type of prejudicial discrimination is something that I have NEVER experienced or expected. My driving record is clear, no violations whatsoever - my credit and background are also beyond reproach.
Not only do I speak English, but I also am fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, Hebrew, Yiddish, French, Italian and Arabic. I'm sure that NOBODY that can and would make a difference will read this earnest and accurate review of this urgent matter.
My perspective is BOTH from a passenger perspective as well as a potential driver. As a passenger, I am almost ALWAYS late for my medical appointments or the Trip2 T/A driver just never shows up.
Trip2 recently sent me a link to download the driver APP. I leased a late model car specifically to drive for this backwards firm. Naturally, English is not the primary language spoken here. Matter of fact - English is just an afterthought. Try calling customer support to report a late pick-up or a driver no show or is waiting for the usually handicapped or disabled passenger in a far away location.
