This guy James with his slick internet ad has been scamming people out of their money for half fast transmission repairs. Did to me. Towed my car with the free tow and 2 days later BAM 2.5 times more money. Should have checked for reviews before I did this cause I never would have gotten associated with this CON MAN. Big bait and switch. If you are reading this take a look at what other people are reporting. I am contacting every agency out there to get this CON MAN off the street. HIs cars are being towed to PRECISION automotive in Woodbridge NJ. The owners name is MOE. 744 Rahway Ave (732) 582 6839. He helps this sleazebag and gets a big kickback in return. They only stick a junkyard transmission in it so you are not getting a rebuild. These guys are TERRIBLE
I was searching for "transmission repair" via the google search engine and proceded to click on the first advertisment for repair which read "$1349 transmission repair- free tow & diagnostic with repair- tra10jr.com". The website took me to a page that was vague with company info and gauruntees of qaulity transmission repair and several youtube testemonials of happy customers. The site offered a free qoute in which i submitted only giving basic personal info and telephone numder. I was called the next morning from a james- discount transmission repair shop owner who gave me a lofty sales pitch and who proceded to offer to send a tow truck to pick up my car right away. I told james to hold off till the next day, when i was off of work. My instincts of being burned in the past prompted me to to ask james important business questions like business name, address, number and website. When asked he said " ok if it will make you feel wam and fuzzy" the put me on a brief hold.
He came back on the phone and told me their name was discount transmission in woodbridge nj, and that their site is the one where i submitted my qoute. I offered to come visit there shop and he said " no one is allowed to visit there shop where they do wholesale transmission repair". James became very pushy with sales pitch and to send a tow truck to pick up my car the next morning, i told him to give me a call then. I researched all info that was given on the web but only found one complaint listed on Outscam. He called back the next morning and said he was sending a truck to pick up my car, i then declined and told him that i was not going to do business with someone who couldnt give me their business information. He then became agitated and started using vulgar language and told me to " go look look up the street you f*cking looser", then hung up on me. These guys are scam artists, please investigate and put a stop to these criminals who prey on elderly and naive consumers. I am fortunate to escape this. Thanks
