This company failed to perform the services as contracted. I paid them a $1,000 deposit to send a driver and truck to transport my belongings across country (a balance to be paid upon pickup). I traveled across country to meet them, the driver never arrived--Over a four day period, I made repeated calls to the company, sent texts and emails to the customer service person (who had assured me that he would monitor my move and report status), and did not get a timely response. A driver called me and said he was on his way, promised he would meet me a day later than the contract, and he never showed. The customer service person called me as I was leaving Delaware (I had a flight back to the West Coast), and said 'someone would be coming later in the day'. TOO LATE, and not believable. I requested a refund from that person, followed up with email, and got NO RESPONSE.

This caused considerable anguish to me, loss of funds for travel/lodging, and I still didn't have my stuff (paying storage unit fees, etc.).

NEVER USE THESE PEOPLE. Even if they HAD shown up on the last day, I would have been VERY nervous about my things arriving safely.

I recently relocated from Indianapolis, Indiana to Jacksonville, Florida with Trans United Moving company. Trans United picked up my furnishings on Monday 7/24. My family and I arrived on Saturday 7/30. Today, as of this email, it is 8/28, 35 days later and our things have not arrived. My sons slept on the floor for almost 3 weeks. My wife and I bought another bed and put an air mattress into the frame. While having no furniture is difficult enough, things have been made even worse due to the terrible and atrocious level of service we’ve gotten from Trans Untied Movers “representatives”. They do not return calls. They don’t answer the phone. When I have been able to find a person to answer the phone they’ve given my wife and I the “runaround”. We have been told our items would be delivered in about 6-8 business days on 3 different occasions. The deadline comes and goes. Our furniture doesn’t arrive. No one calls or cares. And when I get a person on the phone after numerous calls, the say “someone will call you later” or “they said it would be 5-8 business days” and yet the delivery or phone call never comes.

In the course of a few short weeks dealing with this company I’ve been hung up on twice. My sales rep Kiera Walsh called me an “A hole” , claimed I harassed her for calling, and blocked my number. A few days later she hung up on my wife even though my wife was referred to Kiera the “sales rep” for information. In fact, even though I sleep on an air mattress and my children had slept on a floor for 17 days, Kiera claimed that she regretted booking my move and that I’m rudely harassing her just for calling trying to get information! How backwards is that?

School started for my sons and all of their clothes are on a truck along with their bunk bed. I think people should know how abysmal this company is. They’ve managed to maintain an A+ rating by changing the company name and address a few times I’ve noticed. They claim to have been in business 14 years but only have 6 total 5star reviews. No other reviews at all…until I found them on another website. That site had testimonial after testimonial of the same type of service I’ve gotten.

After being given a different number for their "Midwest office" we researched the number and it's for a different company called David & Goliath Moving & Storage, a company with a "F" rating and rightfully so. I'm not certain if my contract was sold or brokered or if they're part of the same network because I wasn't told of the switch.

After a news reporter called Trans United, they claimed our items were accidentally sent to Florida. They'd told us that they were in Chicago on a truck, out for delivery, on a dock still in Chicago...in THAT ORDER! These people lie and don't care about their clients in the least. I wouldn't trust them to move my dishes from the sink to the dishwasher. If I actually HAD dishes anymore. They're allegedly in California.

This company is atrocious, abysmal, and full of people who, as long as it isn't their family, really don't care about their clients and the stress they put you through. This company should be dissolved and made into a toilet because that's how they treat you.
