Nicole B. also known by the nick name Nikki who heads the Trust Dept at Tradesy continues to close accounts with no reasoning. She seems to enjoy this activity and thinks there's no blowback to her playing games with people's business and source of income. She hasn't realized that every time she closes accounts for no reasons people are going to leave her negative feedback until she gets poor reviews all over the web and future employers are aware of her shady behavior.
I ordered a dress on Tradesy.com and about 2 hours later, Jillian Ziarko canceled the order saying that she had lowered the price for another user who had been negotiating before I bought it. She did not offer me anything in return (in this case, she could have at least offered me another item in her store at a deeply discounted rate). And so what if she negotiated with someone else?? I bought it first. Negotiations do not reserve the dress - payment does, and I beat the person to it. Normally, and ethically, this would be a 'too bad' situation for the other buyer, who essentially would just be out of luck that they didn't act fast enough (and by fast enough, they took their time, as Jillian only realized it a couple hours later, rather than minutes). In other words, it was 'mine' for a couple hours before either the potential other buyer or the seller realized that they had not acted quickly enough. Meaning, it was rightfully mine and should have stayed that way. I bet if the buyer had taken an entire day to purchase, Jillian still would have reserved it for them and cancelled had another person, or even worse PERSONS, bought it within that timeframe. I have seen this same scenario played out on other retail sites. The seller lowers the price, and then the potential buyer is shocked that the item sold before they could purchase it. In all cases, the seller had done the RIGHT thing and simply apologized that the person was not quick enough, NOT canceled the order of the person who did end up purchasing. Usually this happened in a matter of MINUTES, so the buyer was right there ready to purchase and still missed it. With my situation, it was HOURS, so the buyer was clearly not on and should not have expected it to just be reserved at 'their' price for hours. Utterly ridiculous on both the buyer and seller's part, but mostly the seller, JILLIAN ZIARKO.
Any competent seller should not mark an item down until the buyer is ready to purchase, which they clearly were not here. Jillian Ziarko and the cheap buyer here (who clearly lowballed the seller if the price I bought it for was what they offered based on the original price I had previously seen it for) both acted in bad faith by agreeing to cancel my order. 1) Jillian Ziarko should have apologized to the other buyer and agreed to sell it to me. 2) The other buyer should not have asked for it to be cancelled, nor been okay with the fact that it was. I wish I knew who the buyer was. AVOID Jillian Ziarko at all costs. She is dishonest, unreliable, and unethical. After reporting this activity to Tradesy, it sounds as though they will be taking action to make sure she does not behave this way in the future. They agreed that this was unfair business practice but admitted that unfortunately they could not reinstate the order, which I understand. I do hope this seller is eventually banned from selling on Tradesy and elsewhere. She is pathetic and I am sure karma will do its job on her.
I reported the incident to Tradesy returned the item as well as contacted Affirm to let them nknow that I did not place this order. Well to my SURPRISE TRADSEY CANCELLED MY ACCOUNT EITH THEM FOR LIFE. They told me because of theft on my account I can no longer have an account with them. BULLSHIT I have never been late on payments and anything that I ordered if it was not real I reported it and if it was real I kept it. I LOVE THIS SITE AND HAVE REFERRED MANY MANY PEOPLE TO IT... Cancelled my membership
I sold my expensive bags that I purchased myself. Tradesy Inc. sent me back a terrible fake ,that wasn't even close to looking like the bag mailed. I have sold several other bags and shoes there with no problem with the exception of payment. Tradesy Inc.,has since "restricted" my account. The company Owes me $1,800 in money or my merchandise. I called the minute my bag arrived , and they promised to open a case to find my bag. 2 months later I can't get anyone on the phone, they refuse to return emails. I have no access to my account that is linked to my bank account and got a call from the bank "fraudulent bank activity" luckily they cancelled cards and froze my account but not before someone obtained over $1,000. They are scammers!
Purchased a counterfeit Louis Viutton purse. Had authenticated by the LV store returned to Tradesy in 2 days won't refund original payment method. Purchased a LV purse on their site that was misrepresented as authentic. Took the purse to the LV store next day after receiving and was told by 3 certified LV employees that the purse was fake. Sent back to Tradsey in less than 4 days, Refused to issue refund to Affirm (Affirm is involved). Tradesy gave me site credit. I will never buy from them as they misrepresent and do not follow guidelines. Kathy B in the authentication department at Tradesy claims she authenticates all listings. How? By pictures? They have sellers nationally. Plus how do you know the picture that is uploaded to Tradesy is the ACTUAL item before or after Tradesy photshops it? I fell pray to Tradesy's malicious intent to commit Fraud , Blackmail - giving a credit back to the original form of payment is at their discretion so their "we guarantee to be authentic" is a lie, they will give you Tradesy Credit which is Bribery and a Currency Scheme.
Tradesy refused to have me as a member in its reselling website because I couldn't ship immediately after a sale. I explained to them I worked long hours and had to travel for work and they still refused my membership. Very discriminatory against working class individuals.
