My husband bought me a website package fron Total Creation. I completed the paperwork and posted it to their address in London in March 2016 and heard nothing back.
A few weeks later I called them and left a voicemail. I heard nothing back. I then completed the forms and sent them in an email. I still heard nothing.
I sent them several emails to which I got no reply.
Next I completed the enquiry form on their website and hey bingo, I got a reply with some details of the 'service' they provide. Things slowed down when I said My husband had already paid for a website. I got a few emails back but I always had to chase them for a response. The emails never had a name on them.
In May I received an email from a company called Northgate web limited saying they had created an account for me for web hosting and that my website would be up and running in a few days.
I've checked several times since then and there's nothing. I've emailed Total Creation again and the emails bounce back.
Terrible service, a total con.Wouled never recommend and am thinking of taking legal action.
I requested this company to provide me with a website at the end of February 2016, having read a number of very enthusiastic reviews. My payment was made at the beginning of March 2016 when I sent my draft website to them. After numerous e-mails over the course of the next three months, so far I have only been sent a "draft home page" (which I could have done myself!). This company is a fraudulent scam. The lack of communication is appalling - they just do not respond to any questions asked. 10 days ago I asked the questions - "Are you actually able to provide me with a working website?" or, "When will I receive a refund of my payment?" To date I have not received any kind of response whatsoever. As my payment was made via PayPal I shall contact them to see if they can obtain a refund for me. My advice is - do not engage with this company and warn everyone you know to steer clear of them.
I paid for the website which they claimed they could produce in 24hrs as it is a one-page template. As soon as they got my money and I sent them all the contents for my website, I never heard from them again. When I contacted them for feedback, they sent me a sample website that was so badly designed even a child would have done a better job. I asked them for a refund and they said they don't do refunds but that they will make amendments. Again I told them what I wanted. They eventually got the first page looking decent but still didn't get the bottom pages and links right.
Again I gave them the information and they never got back to me. I kept emailing them for updates but heard nothing. Finally, I threatened to escalate the complaint with my credit card provider and they emailed saying there was a link to my site. There was no link. I emailed requesting the link. I am still waiting for the link till date. I wish I had researched this company before using them. My advise is that no one should ever enter any online transaction with any company that doesn't use Paypal, as Paypal can usually get back refunds for fraudulent transactions such as this. Total Creation is the biggest con ever
