My boss had gone into Top Hat Cleaners Arboretum Market, 9722 Great Hills Trail #390, Austin, TX 78759. He had gone in there on several occasions. The second time, his brand new shirt came out all ripped up. The lady that was there in the morning brought it to his attention and said she reached out to her manager to discuss. She stated that they would pay for it. Which they did.
The second time, again, brand new shirt and the shirt was ripped. Brought it back in to let the lady know, she said that it was wierd cause she has never seen anything like it. Went back a week later, she said the manager was still out of town. Went back again, he explained that it had been three weeks. She gave him the manager Kevin, and I believe the last name was McClains, cell number to call. He called several times with no luck. Finally, we was getting a little annoyed..went online and saw that there were many others that complained about damaged clothes and that Kevin would not call back. Finally, my boss called and left a message stating that he read a lot of bad reviews and asked to be called back.
Kevin called my boss back and was rude from the start. Now, my boss does not normally get mad, but he explained to him what happend and Kevin proceeded to be rude and said he was on vacation and that he did not need to call him. Said he paid for the first shirt, but would not pay for the second shirt. My boss told him that was poor customer service and Kevin said he was not even a customer.
My boss expianed to Kevin that he just started going there and that was his 3rd visit. He said there was no tag on the shirt saying that it came from them. My boss said, this was a brand new shirt as was the last one. It was the same type damage, but not as bad as the first one. Kevin continued to argue and yell at my boss where our whole front office could hear.
Kevin told my boss that he would not pay for the shirt, but would have it sewed. My boss finally said, you do what you feel is right, but he would not be back. This was no way to treat a customer..especially a brand new customer. Keivn yelled over the phone "Scew You" and hung up on my boss.
If you are looking to have your clothes dry cleaned, I would NEVER take my clothes to Top Hat Cleaners on Great Hills Trail Austin Texas. Kevin did not care that the shirt was damaged but wanted to say it wasnt from them. He called my boss a liar several times...WORST PLACE -
As a small business, my boss explained that is the reason small businesses get's bad reviews. As a small business, you rely on customer service. Top Hat Cleaners in the Arbor in Austin Texas, does not know how to take care of people...
