Bought item from Toenic.com. After waiting 3 weeks and seeing that the payment was processed, I still had not received the item so I tried contacting Toenic customer service through email and phone, with no answers. Thank goodness I payed through paypal. I used paypal to resolve the matter, who contacted toenic, which toenic then sent me A item, but not THE item. The item I received did not visually match the features of what I had ordered.
Summary, I would never buy anything from toenic and feel they should seize to operate as an online merchant due to poor payment processing, dismal customer service , and incompetent ability to follow through with an exact match item that is ordered.
I ordered a Lego set on Sunday 11/15/15 and when I went to look at my account on 11/17/15 it said the order was cancelled. No email had been sent and I had not been contacted to let me know that the order was cancelled and why.
So I emailed customer service and got a response that it wasn't "in stock" and that all the time had been used to try to locate the product that your website does not display as "out of stock" and no real reason why I wasn't INFORMED that an order was cancelled.
I came back the next day to order the same set, still listed as available. The next morning in checking my account, the order was cancelled again and again no notification. So I ordered the set AGAIN because my son really wants it and I have been looking for it since last Christmas at a price I could afford.
This morning I check my account and again the order show "cancelled" and no notification that it was cancelled or why. When I search for the product again not only does it NOT say "unavailable" or "out of stock" but the price was DOUBLED. This is ridiculous and seems incredibly dishonest, not to mention customer service and communication is non existent.
I ordered a product that the manufacturer was out of, but Toenic said they had some in stock. When I asked for an ETA a week later, I got a vague response saying the order is "approved" but still no ETA, and the response indicates they do not speak English well. Still no product.
