Repeated delays on orders, fake phone number, refusal to answer emails until asking for credit and cancel. No explanations for repeated delays in shipments except 'we do not have a pick up for Florida today' Now, has anyone ever heard that the USPS, my preferred shipping method with them, ever picks up by states? Seriously? This company is my lifetime worst experience with customer service and shipping , I will never buy from them again. This has happened to me with them over and over. They now have removed chat off their website to further keep from communicating with customers besides their fake phone number. The hassle of buying from them is far worse than the price difference of other suppliers. Stay away from them!

I have been a Tobaccogeneral.com customer for almost 10 years. My last order included 5 boxes of Royal Majestic filter tubes. The tubes were defective, coming apart at the seams and could not be rolled. I contacted Zoe, the so-called customer service manager and she refused to replace filter tubes or refund my money. I do not believe any legitimatize company would be willing to lose a regular, long time customer over $11! She also refused to supply contact information for owner or executive office! What kind of company is this??

Upon placing your order on tobacco general website you are given two options.

1) super saver 5-8 day $8.99

2) standard 3-5 day $10.99

My first order i chose option 1 and received order 11 days after i paid. Second order i paid a little more and chose the faster shipping option 2 and recieved my order 12 days after i paid. I contacted customer service and was informed by zoe that the 3-5 days are the amount of days it would take the post office to deliver not including the 4-7 days needed to process my order. Also they sent both orders using the cheapest shipping method sure post. I expected if i paid more to ship either tobacco gen. Would process my order faster or use a faster shipping option non of which occurred... Sooooo whats the difference betwewn super saver shipping and standard shipping ???Besides the fees charged to customers...

Zoe is the worst cs agent ive had to deal with.

Tobacco general are scam artists. they cancel orders when you question why they havent shipped as promised. they lie and say it is a holiday or they are backed up all the time. when you catch them in a lie, they cancel your order and remove you from their company altogether. Zoe is the main rep there and she is the one causing the trouble and making the rules as she goes. they do illegal acts and have been reported to the BBB and Federal Trade Commission.

tobacco general AN ORDER WAS PLACED WITH THEM ON 6/17/17. THERE SITE STATES 3 BUSINESS DAYS TO PROCESS ORDER. I EMAILED THEM ON 6/21 AFTER 3 BUSINESS DAYS TO SEE WHY ORDER WASNT PROCESSED AND SHIPPED YET. THEY LIED AND SAID IT WAS A HOLIDAY WHICH IT WASNT AND THAT THEY WERE BACKED UP WHICH THEY ALWAYS SAY EVERYTIME I CONTACT THEM. I SAID YOU PROMISE A THREE DAY PROCESSING TIME AND IT WAS UP AND THEY SHOULD PROCESS THE ORDER AND I TOLD THEM THERE WAS NO HOLIDAYS AND THAT THEY ALWAY USE THE BACKED UP EXCUSE WHEN ALL THEIR ORDERS ARE LATE. THEY ASKED IF I WANTED TO CANCEL ORDER. I SAID NO. BUT TO SHIP IT ON 6/21 AS PROMISED. THEY INSTEAD CANCELLED THE ORDER. I TOLD THEM THAT WAS ILLEGAL TO DO FOR NO REASON OTHER THEN THE FACT I WAS CATCHING THEM IN LIES AND TELLING THEM THEY DONT DO AS PROMISED. THEY THEN IN TURN CANCELLED MY ACCOUNT REALIZING THEY KNEW THEY WERE CAUGHT. WHEN I SAY "THEY", I MEAN THE REPRESENTATIVE NAMED ZOE. SHE IS TROUBLEMAKER DOING THE ILLEGAL ACTS. Order 274221-170602 was placed on 6/2/17. As of today, 6/8/17, I had not received the customary shipping notice, so I called to check status and was informed the order shipped yesterday. They did not have a shipping/tracking number to provide.

I think chatted with customer service rep, Zoe, who informed that the order had been scanned but not yet picked up. So the first person I spoke with lied about it having been shipped yesterday. I asked Zoe to cancel the order since it had not yet been shipped - she indicated that was not possible because it had already been "scanned". I advised that I would call my bank and stop payment and refuse shipment. Zoe indicated that they had to shut down my account on this basis.

The reason given for the delay was that they were "backed up" because of the Holiday and were trying to get caught up on orders. That is not really MY problem, now is it?

Six days to process an order and then a refusal to cancel an order that has not yet left their facility is in direct conflict with Tobacco General's own terms of service.

I would recommend not doing business with this firm. I have placed several orders, previously with Tobacco General and their order processing time has always been slow, but not quite this slow.

I consider Tobacco General's violation of their own terms of service to constitute a rip-off and certainly very poor customer service.

I wished I would have checked your website first before ordering from tobaccogeneral.com

I have a similar complaint about these guys taking my order and not processing it and no contact afterwards.

Finally getting them to return my phone calls the person I spoke with acually hung up on me the first time and after several days finally spoke with someone else to get my money returned.

Do not do business with these people, they will rip you off!

Apparently this merchant is not interested in new customers or retaining customers. I placed an order on 1/4 - two days later it still had not shipped. I called and no one answered their phone - I left a message. Found out they are not a BBB merchant and have similar complaints. I paid thru paypal and decided to cancel. Got an email from merchant - instead of apologizing or sharing understanding/empathy - they had a negative tone - this told me that they are not interested in the customer and I am not interested in supporting a merchant like that. Paypal should ban them. I hope no one else has to deal with them after reading this. Rich, WI
